Just wondering what the policy is on bringing girls back to the room.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated,
Thanks in advance,
Joe.

no problem as long as you purchase a double room
they have security on the lifts and they check your room number against their lists. if you have a double room they let you pass, if you have a single room you pay a joiner fee. with most agencies the price for a double room is only 100 baht more than a single room in some cases the same price so just buy a double room it is easiest on my last trip in november i bought a double room and although my girl was nowhere to be seen I was still given breakfast vouchers for two people. i had no problem at all but they were checking every time !!

UPDATE:
I stayed there recently. As described below, no problems if your lady is registered but the joiner fee is 650 B otherwise. You may be charged if you try to enter with a girl who is not registered, even if you have booked a double room. So register the girl before trying to pass the security checkpoint.
(The price difference for a single/double room is around 600 B).

I forgot:
Although I do not recommand this hotel, if you want to stay there, book the room through their Website as internet prices are around 20 USD cheaper.

Bobby

If your budget alows it, then go for the Landmark Bangkok. Its simply the best hotel and there is absolute now problems with bringing back compagny one or a small group dosent matter.
The price is on the upper scale but its worth it.
Have a nive trip.

have to say i have stayed at the Ambassador twice and i like it there.the staff are friendly and helpfull,ok the rooms are very basic ,but for me it has to be location location location.
not to near nana to be pestered, couple of nice little bars to wet the whistle ,soi 7 beer garden is a three in walk and then nana is a five min stroll, soi cowboy is about twenty min walk or two mins in a tuk tuk,and you have the bars of what was next to the long gone clinton plaza for afternoon frolics.
have stayed at higher class hotels in Bangers before ,but i always seem to have sanuk sanuk when i stay at the Ambassaodr.

I agree with Kloymaie, If you have the baht then it is hard to beat the Landmark or the JW Marriott...high end & no joiner problems.

I must admit that the location is great but I really prefer Ruamchitt Plaza (near Soi 15) where rooms are only 900 B.
