C & N Resort & Spa

Sorry guys, but I have searched the board and didn't find what I was looking for, the search just lumped too much info and I'm trying to narrow this down the rest of the way.

First, I have only a few true needs from a place, as in I don't care about fees and such.

I really just want to find someone with real experience staying here, or sugestions...but not the cheapest girl friendly joint in town.

So here goes, list of importance. Has to be away from some of the noise, we want to relax sometimes at night and just enjoy ourselves. Yes I am sure we will be out on the town, but when we are done...peace and quite rule!

I like the idea that they have a spa, important for making the trip enjoyable. Poolside is important too...

I won't stay in any of the large places, or the outrageos 20k a day joints either, so something thai...quite..pool...spa....a/c

So does c&n resort spa meet this short list??

Time is getting short...if I don't deside soon we will just wait until we get there... Thanks in advance.

Salathai Resort takes some beating; central, quiet in the evening, decent restaurant, great pool. Great mid-range hotel.

I know we have covered this place on another thread but they are well worth a look.

I concur with Salathai idea. I stayed there in Novemeber and I'm staying there again on March 1st till 7th. Close enough to Bangla to walk, but far enough away to avoid the noise. There are some bars across the street, and you can hear the music till they close, but it's not annoying. Pool is not huge, but landscaping and general atomosphere make it a very pleasant hotel.
