Thai Airways Non-stop JFK-BKK Flights

Thai Airways has "officially" begun promotion of their new A340-500 non-stop service between JFK (New York) & BKK on their website. Right now, the promotion is geared towards passengers originating in BKK, but the price is pretty much the same either way for Economy service. A description of the aircraft's ameneties & a seatmap link are also provided. The "promotional" fare for Economy is a little over $900 & is for travel between 1 May & 30 June. Seems in order to book the other new classes of service, you'll have to visit a Thai-based travel agent for now. Flight time 17 hours from JFK to BKK.
