It's a very good price for a Manchester departure - is it to BKK or Phuket?

Good price!!!

I just checked the internet at this end for a return flight to Glasgow from Bangkok with Emirates, 3 hour stopover in Dubai - 31,000 baht, that about 417 sterling.

As far as I know they also fly from Manchester

yep i tried to get on emirates, they are a good airline a lot of my mates use them exclusively to go to LOS.My problem was that for the dates i want to fly i was quoted £561!! from manchester and i does need that extra money to spend in your bars and make a total twat out of myself

The airlines know how tight the Scots are so they lower their prices for you. I looked extensively for flights from Manchester (being my nearest airport) and couldn't see anything less than £700. Ended up flying from Heathrow, but if flights from Glasgow are that cheap maybe next time I'll look there. Problem will be finding somewhere safe to park my car

Perhaps flights from Thailand to UK and return are cheaper than Uk to Thailand and return?

parking

Hi Diz,

I have a friend who lives near to Heathrow (Staines) and I park my car at his place. Sometimes I spend the night there and he gives me a lift to Heathrow in the moring. He also picks me up from the airport on my return. I give him 200 duty free fags in return. Leaving my car at a hotel for 6 weeks would be b***** expensive. I've been on a couple of 1 week holidays and left my car at Manchester park and ride - that's more than £30 per week.
