from what i read, and i think its a ood idea, is that they are not gonna build up phi phi as much as it was before the tsunami. they are going to limit the building, as it was getting overcrowded

If you go to page 6 and actually read each of the requests for financial assistance it gives you a lot of food for thought when after you read threads about BG's and sponsors and the rights and wrongs and is she telling the truth etc.
We are very wary of hardship stories and know of many cases where a BG is perhaps technically taking a loving sponsor on a merry dance, there are many many details on the threads of this forum detailing such experiences but perhaps at times it would do us all good to just re-read page six before we castigate all BG's and their reasons for requesting financial assistance from us their wealthy friends. The tsunami was a major tragedy but perhaps not more so on a personal level, to the experiences of the girls we meet in Patong. Probably wrong thread to detail my thoughts on this but reading the details just made me think a bit more than I usually do.
