Phuket Thailand

Hello again all, i am having a bit of trouble with my flight tickets and wondered if anyone has any advice.
I am booked on flights from Africa to Phuket with an offshore ticket, i planned to stop in paris for a week and use air miles to get me to aberdeen, i booked the flights with miles but now i am told that i can not have a stop over on an offshore ticket, so it looks like i am going to lose my outward flight from paris to BKK, unless i find a solution.
Does anyone have experience of offshore tickets, i plan to ask when i get to paris if i can change the flight, i tried to phone but they told me as its a sponsered ticket i did not own it and had to get the company to do it(not an option anymore).

Only 48 hours to go until i am leaving but with this issue hovering over my head i can not get excited just yet.

Sounds like corporate cheapskating.. Not uncommon to have more restrictions with those kind of accounts..

Anyway... Phuket.. Aberdeen.. Phuket.. Aberdeen.. Simple choice man !!!

I have given up trying anything from here, i am going to turn up in paris and see what happens, i may be able to buy air miles from my boss for a return from aberdeen-bangkok, he has half a million so hopefully i will get a good price.
The very worst thing that can happen is that i have to buy a return from aberdeen to bangkok online, either way i will be in Phuket with 12 days.

That is true until you fly your first sector and then the traveller can do what they want.

You wont have a problem. I have flown out of West Africa many times into Paris on Offshore or seamans tickets and no problems at all. Ive never even been asked about it. The only people that have trouble is Phillipinos of other nationalities that have special visa requirements.
