Flights from Belgium to Phuket

Hi guys,

Do you have any idea about cheap flight from Brussels to Phuket ?

I have found around 1.000 € if I leave from 30 August. It will be a long long trip, so I don't care about return as I want to live in LOS with my TGF... too many troubles here.

Any advice is welcome

Thanks

Hi Domi

Not sure about Belgium but KLM prices are pretty reasonable if you fly from Amsterdam.

Based on return ticket

The other prices were based on oneway which might give you trouble with immigration as you have no return ticket. The route seems not to long as it is 15 hours and just 2 houres switch in rome

Ticketrates and seats were available at this moment

You will not be permitted into Thailand, if you can not show a return-ticket

I have never seen immigration ask to see return ticket, boarding pass of the fvlight you are arriving on, yes, but return ticket, no.

Thanks erik1, these are better rates that I have found with Air France or Thai Airways. Have you already travelled with one of these companies ?

Peterhol, thanks too. I don't care so much about the air company, I am looking for a good price and no more than 2 scales from Brussels.

I would like to book a ticket with a return date that I would be able to change easily. I guess I can take a ticket with an open return date, but it would probably be a little bit more expensive.
In fact, I don't plan to come back in Belgium. I have my TGF in Phuket and too many problems here for a few weeks, it seems to me that it will never stop. Life can be crazy sometimes, from one day to the other, you lose everything.

Maybe it is a sign of destiny and it's time for me to move and change life.

From Belgium I dont know but China airlines (Schiphol-Bkk) can break your ticket open in Bangkok. I know this cause b4 I had probs with a ticket and I went to the holding of China Airlines in Bkk and they opened the ticket with a year extention. It wasnt even expensive overthere.

I heard a story recently about a BM who had trouble to check-in, they refused to check-in him because he just had oneway ticket to Thailand.

I know Thailand usually require a return ticket but his ticket was bought in Thailand-Europe-Thailand.

Usually, if you have a visa from a Thai embassy this is usually not a problem anyway.

visa

if you have a visa there is no problem with getting in , but if you want to go on tourist one they can give you trouble with a one way ticket or a open ticket !!! so make sure you got the right visa

Hi found a promotion with Ethiad Airways : 590 € from Brussels to BKK with return, all taxes included.

I guess it would be easy to buy a one way ticket from BKK to Phuket directly at the airport for +/- 2.500 bath if I remember well.

Does anyone know where I would have to go ? Can I stay in the transit area and buy it at the Thai Airways desk?

I know that Air Asia has very cheap flights, but is it possible to book at BKK airport?

Thnaks again for all your help

Hi mitton,

Before tsunami, best-Tours had direct charters from Brussels to Phuket, but it is not the case anymore. It was with Excel Airways, that didn't work anymore from Belgium

Try this link... I think one of the betset price from brussels (but from 23 August) http://biac.connections.be/flights/p...ge=fr&CL=biac#

It is only to Bangkok, but no problem to find a flight from BKK to Phuket.

erik1 has other good solutions too... just see above... this guy should work in a travel agency thanks again Erik.

Air France has rather good price too... Thalys from Brussels to Paris, then Air France to BKK, then Thai Airways to Phuket, last time it was a little cheaper than Thai Airways for all flight.

Can I suggest we keep in touch, as I am looking for a good price from Belgium and you too ? More in two heads than in one

PS : more on this forum than in any head alone... just have a look on the answers done... this forum and their members are definitively great !!!
I see you are new here, so welcome ! You will find here all the answers you want about everything. It's the best forum about Phuket.

You could allways try amsterdam. 550 with El Al on monday to BKK by Telaviv among others

Work in a travel organisation? Me? Is travelphotography not enough

Actually every now and then I have to arrange tickets and when I go to the lovely lady I first let her sweat and then tell her how to look for the right flight :P First I want my coffee.
