Ask the hotel to pick you up / Give them your flight number - do not take a taxi

Hotel Transfer Last Trip Booked With Hotel
Trip From Airport Free
Trip Back To Airport 500 Baht
Is Cheaper Ways But I Think Paying The 500 Baht Is Worth It

Not all the hotels offer the pick up at the airport, but yes, try to call them and you will know.

if u had made booking thru travel agency, get them to do it for u. if booking with hotel direct thru internet, e-mail or call them. not too difficult to do. otherwise just take the
limo/metered taxi/coach from the airport. cheers.

Airport limo service charges 550 Baht, cross carpark and get "meter" taxi about 100 Baht less. If you have little luggage it's no problem, if your dragging suitcase pay the extra.

Why?

I thought speedy was a first time visitor and I did not wish him to be scammed at the airport.
see :http://www.phuket-info.com/forums/sh...=airport+taxis
Most hotels offer some sort of pick up service and after a long voyage it's nice to be met at the airport. That's all

Meter taxi is 410 baht - turn left at the airport exit, walk around 20 yards then walk accross the car park (following the not very obvious signs)

well i am back... and it was too short of a trip to phuket... i took a limo taxi from the airport to patong beach lodge, cost: 550bt. throughout my 4 days there i just book him if i need to go phuket town for the clubs. Cost(round trip): 550bt... he will wait till you are ready to go back to the hotel. Nice guy he is.

the scenary at phi phi island was great... well the boat back was bad because of the bad weather... quite a number of the passenger was puking.

I would love to visit phuket real soon. i miss mind already

rent a minivan

Speedy,

next time you visit Phuket for more people, you can rent a mini van hold up 9 folks. it runs from
*650 baht airport transfer
*600 baht golf club, pier transfer/ trip
*1500 baht 8 hours rent w/o gas + driver

surely beat the airport limo. i used two reliable companies for my clients which are pure-car-rent, and hello phuket car rent
