I was just about to book another day trip Singapore run (yay my last 30 day run.. Got a Non imm visa) but reading the just published Asia bugle I am thinking I might do a 3 night 4 day run around Phom Phen..

Aside from wine women and song (and Hotel) are there hidden visa charges and costs to cambodia ??

Also whats the cheapest flight options currently..

Love PP. Marc 26 also went there.
Fly Thai International, Bangkok Airlines or Siem Reap Airlines. DON'T fly President Airlines. Old Russian planes.
Visa fixed price. You can get one at entrance. Faster if you have one bought in BKK. All prices in US$, so have a lot of small notes.
PP looks like a French province town, or like the towns in some old French colonies in Africa. "Interesting nightlife", drinks between 1700 and 2000 on the riverbank. I loved the FFC (Foreign Corespondents Club), place where the press stayed durind the entrance of the Khmer Rouge.
If necessary I can send more info I collected from other travellers, but Marc 26 got that allready and can tell you. I know Sharkey in PP, there is also Martini and some places like Circe and Sophia which seem to be better than Lolita, but I haven't visited either, so only hearsay.

Usually v expensive - Bangkok Airways discovery pass might be the way to go but not sure if you can count HKT-PNH as a single leg.
Met a Kiwi (in Laos) who said Sophies Club/Bar (BJ bar) was a must visit place - get a few girls to take turns and offer $ to the one who gets you off.
