Patong Grand Condotel anyone ?

Hello guys:
I'm going to stay in Patong abt 2-3 months Oct-dec.
Found Patong Grand Condotel on the web.
Does anyone have info about them ?
Are they girl friendly ?
Is the quoted B9000/month correct ?
Are there any additional costs ?

Another question:
how does this seasson compare to pre-tsunami ?
Much less tourists ? Less girls ?

thank you for any input :-)

Hi malte,
I own a condo in the Grand.
When you rent a room there it's up to you who you take back. Absolutely no restrictions.
Depending on which room you have, which floor etc.9000 baht a month sounds about right and should include electricity and water & maybe maid service. There is also a very good pool there and restaraunts, shops, laundry,
bike rent etc. on site.
It's situated about 2 kilometer from Bangla. which I don't mind as I enjoy the walk into town. Or m/bike taxi from the bottom of the street for 20 baht.
Beach is a 5 minute walk. Also plenty of bars etc. in the immediate vicinity.
If you are renting from a guy named "WiWi" tell him you want a room on the 8th. floor at the north end of the block.

That wouldn't be your place would it ?

Do they have weekly rates ? How long does the 2km walk take ? (might not be as fit as you )
How much is a cab back from bangla BTW?

No not my place, I don't let it out. Why I suggested the higher floors at north end is you get better views.
Depending on season, weekly rates are 4000 baht to 6000baht. Depends which room you rent & who you rent it off.
Takes me about 20 minutes to take a leisurely stroll down. A little longer on the return journey when I'm pissed.
Tuk tuk back will cost you 100 baht.

Thanks for info.

Thank you everyone.

I'm probably gonna stay there,
cheap and more like a "home" and less like a hotel.
Distance from the beach and nightlife = no problem, I'm a fit guy

Boycott the Tuk-Tuk maffia, support the motorbike taxis.
Saeng-tew system like in Pattaya would be greate,
