Nok Air
Can anyone give me any feed back on NOK Air. The website will not let me book a flight yet (only up to 29th Oct.) but I'm looking for 30th Dec.
The prices are low, similar to Air Asia, but if the service is undependable, I'd rather pay more and definitely get flight.

Only used them twice but both times they flew out on time and had quite new planes. I think they only have one or two flights a day which is why I havn't used them more. On a 1 hour flight I really don't care who I use so long as they don't expect me to fly it.

Had one flight last month with NOK from Phuket to BKK, nothing to complain, good service, perfectly on time and low price(about 1750 Bt one way). But even beter the last month was Orient Thai (One to GO). They have promotion flights from Phuket to BKK and from BKK to Chiang MAi for only 1250 BT one way. Also nothing to complain. You have to book a few days in advance especialy when you want to go on Saturday or Sunday. Bookings can be made by phone, with a credit card, very easy.
Cheers,

hi
i booked thru online. unfortunately I couldn't fly. two weeks ago. They also change the departure time and they gave me the option. Refund, re-book or re-schedule. I opted for refund and they were very prompt and courteous.

I like Nok Air. Flown them several times. No problems. Very easy to book on the internet. I like that a lot. You can book the day before, or even right up to a few hours before, I think(IIRC). I am inclined to make spur of the moment decisions when travelling, and have always been able to get a next day flight with them. And, of course, I like the prices. The only downside is that they weigh your baggage, and if you've got more than a couple bags or one is really big or heavy, they charge you extra!!

Nok air I flew with to HKT from BKK in Jun, big problem baggage allowance of 15KG, if you have just come an international flight & I had 35kg, its 50baht per kg over the allowance
They enforce this rigorously, I ended up paying more than I would with thai air, but had no choice as there are linited flights to HKT now and Nok had the only seats available
I ended up paying about 2900 baht one way
G
ps their planes are not new!!! just fresh livery on the outside, they are all old thai air 737's
