AirAsia

I booked AirAsia for BKK to Phuket leg

After the recent BA problems (I fly tomorrow to UK then BKK with them)
I am getting a bad feeling about AirAsia ... are these a cheapskate operator ?

Bangkok Air had no seats for the return on 5th Sept and Thai Air is relatively expensive (3x price), but now I did a search and see Reaps had a lot of trouble, was this in peak times or any time.

Also did anybody else have delays etc with AirAsia recently or have they got their sh!t together now and I can rely on them ?

Thanks

AirAsia is pretty reliable but delays can happens. I have flown 4 times this month and all flights were full and just one flight was delayed 30 minutes (today). I am happy with Airasia and their competive prices.

I have flown Air Asia several times without any incidents or major delays of over 30 minutes. Have booked with them again for October. Just remember the baggage allowance is pretty light, you will pay extra for anything over 15kg.

Just don't try eating noodles while making a mobile phone call during take-off...
