Post Bangkok air tickets? Credit Card?

Just a quick question, I got a confirmation e-mail from Bangkok air about my plane tickets. So I would have to present the credit card that I used to purchased these tickets?? I remember AirAsia was not this way.

Thanks.

A lot of airlines now say the same thing, I guess it's to make sure that credit card fraud does not happen.

No l have never been asked.....Passport was always sufficient.

Not a bad idea actually to cut down on credit card fraud.....would thought that it may be fairly risky to pay for an airline ticket with a stolen credit card, then travel on the flight though.......mind you some thieves are not known for their intelligence.
