Has anyone stayed at this hotel before????
It is meant to be right by Beach + Bangla - Soi King Fashion and has all of the right ingredients; guest friendly, aircon, sat TV internal bathroom, use of swiming pool etc
Asking BHT1400 for peak season-early January
I would be intereseted in you coments

Don't personally know this hotel, but if it has those amenities, that is a great price for Jan.

If soi King Fashion is the soi between Bangla and Irish bar on the beach road, where the Italian restaurant Capri da Mario is, then I don't see a pool over there. Never remarked the name Toy residence there (I could be wrong).

Toy Beach Residence web site does not mention a swimming pool , when you click on the "facilities link" , it shows the facilities of the main hotel , The Toy residence. Soi King Fashion is only a couple of minutes walk from the beach ,so perhaps you could do without the pool.

for 1400 you should do a lot better judging by pics and lack of pool..

Agreed. The website pics don't really show it as being worth 1400baht a night even if it is guest friendly.
Jintana Patong Hotel offers much more for for the money.
Its not far from the beach, has a nice pool and is guest friendly.

Toy Beach Residence Patong Beach
Thanks for all of your comments gentlemen and in particular Dawsey for the heads up on the Jintana. Looks great and excellent value. I will definitely investigate this one.
The Toy Beach Residence is in Soi King fashion-the manager told me it is just by the beach and 25 metres to the swimming pool which is in the Patong Bay Garden Resort-they apparently have an arrangement for the use of the pool with PBGR?? Anyone like to comment on the proximity/noise around here??
The website shows Toy Residence which is back up the hill and a long way from the beach indeed-these are two different places but the management is the same for both establishments
Anyone going to be around at MTB from 2nd to 11th Jan?? I might just poke my nose in for a quick hello and a bevy.
I normally stay at the Blue Ocean Resort however at around BHT2400 for a standard room at this time of year (I paid BHT800 in April) I can't see value for money
