Phuket Thailand - Phuket -> Denpasar

hi gents!

have been looking on various websites on flights from phuket airport directly to bali/denpasar and back. havent been very lucky at all. im down to phuket in jan.06 and wanted to take a mate for a 4 day trip to bali to do some kitesurfing there. anybody knows if there are directflights? another thing of interest would be the current visa situation for indonesia. do i need to get a visa in advance or can i just get it on arrival? i have looked on indonesias tourism webpage and my country (austria) was on the list for visas on arrival. maybe theres somebody out there with more details? thanks in advance.

Bounce through singapre is the way I understand.. Very cheap Sing flights currently and Sing Bali is not bad..

I think you can get 30 days on arrival (small fee).. not positive on that though..

i have seen the other thread about singapore airlines doin special fares atm from sing to bali. since i only want to go there for 4 days i wanted to go direct but alsong as the fares are decent a short stay in singapore aint bad either.

You can probably just transit in the airport.. No need for a stay..
