Lets definitely sort out the frinedly and unfriendly.
Its seems with all the thread in this forum over and over again its the question of if a hotel is Girl friendly or not.. what price, what suggestions, etc..
I suggest we come up with a standard format to post about the hotels that come up most regularly and everyone weighs in.. Then we can have the firt post of the thread naming and linking them (I am happy to do the work and edit the post as data comes in).. I suggest we have Name of Hotel :: Price : low / mid / high season (negotiable) Joiner fee :: Yes (price) / No / sometimes Star rating :: Contact info :: tel fax and web address and email if available BM star rating :: Given how costly it is, how friendly they are etc.. Comments :: One line short of anything that needs to be said (get rooms in this bit or avoid the poolside rooms etc) Keeping it short and to the point gives people a fast way to shortlist hotels.. Once we get enough posts we can divide it by price or by stars or something so we have a thread on sub 1000 guesthouses 1 - 2.5k hotels and >3k luxury or 3* and below 4* and above or whatever BM's think ?? Comments on this system fellas ?? I reckon once its working it will self police and stop the question coming again and again.. Just need to edit the first post of the sticky as data changes and new ones are listed.. Perhaps only the favorite 10 or 20 in the first post..

No dirty looks from the staffs when you bring back a lady.

If contributing a hotel can you try to stick to the format I listed (unless anyone has a better idea) and if possible try to get all the main info.. Will wait until we have the first 10 or so and will sort them into a Post

clean rooms not so far from bangla low season 350 - 500 depends what room mid season 450 - 700 high season 550 - 850 big fridge in the room drinks are cheap small terrace in front NO GUESTCHARGE booking in advance is wise he has a lot of regular guest i know him well and even i can't get a room sometimes K hotel has also NO GUESTCHARGE stayed there once

Location: Just opposite the road from Bangla Boxing Stadium. Price : around 700-1000 baht in May Joiner fee : No Star rating : 3 stars for accomodations, 5 star for service. Contact info : Lost the damned card BM star rating : 4 stars Comments : The quality of the rooms are all right. It has air-conditioning for all rooms, a minibar, TV and a laundry service which perfectly ironed my old shirt for the first time in a year, making it look decent and brand new. The service, meanwhile, was excellent. There were two guys working there last time I visited: Sandoh and Sandy. Best service from a hotel I ever received of any rating whatsoever. Sandoh left to complete his studies, though. Highly recommended, but save two rooms for me in November. Name of Hotel : Yorkshire Inn. Location: Rat-U-Thit Road, about 50 metres from Sand Inn. Price : 700-1000 baht in January (after tsunami) to May. Joiner fee : No Star rating : 3 stars for accomodations, 3 stars for service. Contact info : Lost the damned card as well. BM star rating : 3 stars Comments : Changed management recently, so I wouldn't know exactly how things have developed over there. Last time I stayed at Yorkshire Inn was in January this year. Clean, well-kept, with all the things you'd expect to see in a three star hotel room.
