Tiger airways

hi everybody
I'll be in thailand in december , I wanna go a couple of days to singapore before go to phuket so I found a cheap flight BKK-SN and SN-PKT on Internet with Tiger Airways . Is't this a good company ? Anyone has tried it ? Could it be some overbooking problems ? Thank you for your suggestions

All airlines have overbooking policies which could bite you. They are OK, no better or worse than anyother low cost carrier in my opinion. At least they dont seem to have the large delays to schedules that Air Asia seem to regularly experience. All new A320 aircraft

Just noticed with their new schedule starting later this month, they have dropped the evening SIN/HKT/SIN flight, so only have the one morning flight which leaves at about the same time as the Jetstar Asia flight, how convenient.

yeah right pain in the ****..

I cannot get find a way out of sing in the afternoon or evening.. Kinda thought about doing a visa run and having 2 or 3 nights in batam.. Now even though getting to Sing is nice and cheap the only flight I can get out is silk and they wanted 9 or 10k baht for the one way (though only 7 for both ways)..

Jetsat and tiger now both in the very early hours..

Hi again guys !
I've isolated this 3 airlines checking more time all arguments : tiger , jetasia and airasia . Tiger and airasia have only 15 kg luggage permitted and free seating . Jetasia has 20 kg and seat booked . Departing times are about the same . What do you think about it ? It's jetasia better ?

I dont think anyone really knows, as Jetstar Asia they have only just started flying to Phuket.

Air Asia dont fly SIN/HKT so I guess they are out of the equation.

Both Jetstar Asia and Tiger fly new A320 aircraft and leave about the same time, so not too much in it.

Have flown Tiger but have not flown Jetstar Asia, so cant really comment. Both use the same new A320 aircraft, just go with the one that offers the cheapest fare, its only an 1 and abit flight, so it doesnt really matter all that much, does it!!!

Maybe because those flights were full?

My return flight on Wednesday is scheduled for 18:35 and arrival at HKT at 19:30.

Hi Jonny,

I have one year business visa multiple entry, so I have to stamp my passport every 3 months.
