Don't worry, you don't have to explain yourself as I think we got the flaming issue straightened out over the weekend.

Not to justify that but a previous female BM asked lots of questions and then decided not to go because of Sars or something like that so that might be the reason why the flaming might have happened.

I have not been to Bangkok at that time but there are lots of Hollywood like clubs if you are interested in that scene. Q Bar and Bed supper club are 2 of them. look up some of the famous DJ's and see if they are doing anything at that time period in BKK. Might have a friend who can send me a link. If he has one I will post it for you.

Good advice from Seafox there BC...............Q Bar is always getting good press on the Board and I plan a little night out there myself between Xmas + New Year based on this........ make sure whatever you do that the hotel you plan to stay in is not charging for a (mostly exhorbitantly priced and cr@p) dinner as part of your tarriff.......

Novotel Siam Square also has a good fun nightclub with live bands and a mixed crowd of locals/tourists as does the Hyatt Erewan (Spasso nightclub)............check them out with a google

This has happened a lot recently. One guy posted the same question 6 times. I think that if you ''go back'' then the post does not show, but if you re-click on section title, it does refresh/update and will therefore show.

Any other IT questions folks?

I'd stay away from World Trade Centre, unless you get there really early and are prepare to tough it out.

QBar and Bed are very exclusive on this night, maybe invitation only, you certainly won't walk up and get in.

Plenty of good places to go, Soi 33 is a good spot on NYE
