Christmas Dinner

As I will be spending Christmas Day in Bangkok, I was wondering does anyone know anywhere that will be offering a good old farang style Christmas dinner in Bangers? Thanks in advance.

LOL.... Bastard. Derry were brutal though Cork deserved it. I think if no one knows any better I'll try the Irish Xchange they're doing a set christmas menu for 1000 baht. Watch the game IJ? Derry and Cork fans get on really well. My friend was down for the game and he said the ppl are some of the friendliest he's ever met. Not like when we play Shamrock Rovers.

Swedish food

For us Swedish, we will celebrate with a Swedish cristmas food buffe at Karlsson's on 24th.

I guess it mostly depends what country of origin you are from...

Yeah Valhalla is doing multiple christmas dinners with different fare to cater to different nationalities.. One on the 24th for scandinavians, one on the 25th for 'standard'.. I think a couple of others also..

I've once been invited on a Danish vessel for what they call "Jullfest" or something like that.
This is crazy. They must have emptied their foodlockers and fridges on board.
Start eating 1200 and continue the whole day. Maybe 15/20 different things...and flooded down with Carlsberg AND Aquavit.

Certainly not July. It must be related to midwinter or end of the winter.

Your right (of course), I dont know where my mind was. Now, Jul I guess is a shorter version of July, or more modern?? Going back to the July celibration, with Odin, and his horse and goddess Hel. Which was then the 12 day of peace time, which became the 12 night of Christmas, etc. ect. ect.

Thanks for getting me back on track.
