So far i only stayed in the Eastin Hotel from your list and it is on Petchaburi road. Not near Patpong or Suhkumvit so you can get that one off your list.

PS: Sukhuumvit to Silom will cost you 20B by Skytrain so if I was you I'll look also in the Sukhumvit are.

Hi Dude,
I have stayed in Asia Hotel.... really very very busy hotel with many customers ( they offer a good price on the net) but this place is not near night life nor near shopping. The hotel is ok with good breakfast... but lot of crowd...
The hoel is not new and the rooms are pretty old ..... the presure of water is low .... also you hve to pay for the gust (!) you bring inn... The securitary gards are like a pair of Doberman watching who enters the lift..
Roger...

tarntawan place is near patpong action and very nice rooms and good service runs about 2 - 2.5k per night..

Personally I dont rate Patpong much and prefer nana and cowboy night areas and the Sukhumvit scene..

The Baiyoke Sky is a stunning hotel, no idea what the rates are but from memory it's not too far out location wise.

Go with the asia hotel. Really close to the BTS and a good price. Baiyoke is way to far from...anything really. Eastin is probably a bit pricy, though I'm not sure. Friends stay in the asia hotel and have nothing but good things to say about it. Good luck!

Landmark is my favorite hotel in the world! The best service, killer rooms, & Nana is right around the corner.

Miami!!!, that has to be about the biggest flea pit in Bangkok. Do yourself a favour and have alook around, as for the same money in the same area you can do alot better.

Has anyone tried the Manhattan Hotel on soi 15 or the Sawasdee Inn on soi 57?
Are they guest-friendly? Decent rooms?
