Best Buffets in Bangkok
Anyone have the 411 on the best buffet deals in town...quality and price. One of the lures of Thailand (besides the women) is the great value and food. My first trip a couple years ago I kinda stumbled on a couple by accident...Western or Asian style, doesn't matter...I'm going to Thailand in 2 weeks and want to hit some up...thanks...

The finest is the Sunday lunchtime Sheraton opposite Suk Soi 19.
The Peninsular is also very memorable, every evening I think, but pricey and out of the way.
Shangri La (Next 2) is good and reasonable (Sunday)
Banyan Tree on Sunday also good (Saffron 57 floor)
The Sukhothai

Those mentioned are not cheap, all in the higher end of the market.
Do absolutely agree with the Sunday brunch recommendation for the Sheraton Sukhumvit. One of the best in town, great selection, great quality and very good atmosphere.
Price is (approx..., not 100% sure) 1100 THB ++
Another recommendation for buffet is the Landmark Hotel. Good selection and good service. Believe 800 ++ Thb.
If you want to go for a Japanese buffet restaurant, consider Oishi. Different locations and price is changing throughout the day. Between 300 and 500 per person.

Buffets
The breakfast buffet at the JW Marriott is good, but expensive. And, on the second level of the same hotel, they used to have a Thai lunch buffet, or at least that's what it looked like (I didn't try it, but it looked great).
I'll second the Landmark breakfast buffet.

I did try Cafe@2 of Conrad Hotel.
very good food and decent environment.
Price around 800++ for dinner. (Price may be higher now)
It is a good place to entertain friends and make them feel well treated.
But it did cost me a lot.......
Enjoy~~
