Bangkok - Help

I'm going to be in bkk from 02.00 - 22.00 in a few days waiting for a conecting flight from samui to uk and need a driver/guide for the day to pick me up from the airport and take me to mbk and around bkk and then drop me back at the airport. I dont have time to mess around with dodgy tuktuk's.
Can anyone recomend me someone to take me round?
Also I need to know where to get a cheap soapy.

Take meter taxis.

Grab a meter taxi at the airport and negotiate a rate for the day. It's a while since I have done this but I reckon 1500baht would do the trick. Just explain to the driver what you want.

It might be worth going to the departure gate and talking to a driver who has dropped off outbound passengers. If you are spending that much time with a bloke it is worth finding someone who has passable English and is not an axe murderer..

Thanks steve, I got a metered cab for the day for 1500B, took me to Kohsan Road, MBK, Soi Cowboy, Mona Lisa for a soapy (2500B, not bad) then back to airport.
