beergarden soi 7
Just had a great week in BKK, stayed at maxims on 7/1. I went to the beergarden on the next soi every afternoon to pick up a girl for the afternoon and I was just wondering what people usually pay as I'm going back in a month or so I didn't bother discussing a price and just gave the girl 1000 (2 hours) or 1500 (3-5 hours). Not a lot of money, especially as there's no bf, but is this above the going rate? I don't want to ruin the market!

I like the BG7 very much and can't wait to get back ther at the end of March. 1k ST is verging on generous, but I also give extra for good performance. Plus, of course, picking up their checkbin but no barfine (okay if you know what you're doing).
Although I, like you, mostly use it for afternoon pick-ups, I do like the atmosphere there around closing time, thing as are quite relaxed as the place empties and the music shuts off. Also the weekends bring in a number of girls who work weekdays and come along to pick up a little 'overtime' 8^D
Okay, you've talked me into it - I'm off to book my ticket right now!

Attack Pattern
You do get attacked within 30 seconds of arriving there though.
Might be a good idea to do some negotiation about the fees before you leave the confines of the garden though. Freelancers tend to drive a hard bargain, no?

55555. Some are and some aren't I guess. I didn't want to go with this one gal but she gave me a nice massage right on the bar stool - for like a half an hour. She says that she used to be a massage girl. She was determined to get some kind of money from me, I guess. LOL. I bought her some drinks too.
It's a fun place, no doubt. It's weird when all eyes are on you when you walk in the door though. In about 10 seconds I can see at least half a dozen lookers there.

BTW, I wanted to plug the "Old German Beerhouse" on Soi 11. It's not far from the Bedroom Club or President Solitaire Hotel. Good guys usually staying in the hotel adjoining there you can drink with, hearty farang food German style and cute waitresses you can flirt with. They have a 99 THB Breakfast that is a very good deal. Hits the spot and a good way to begin the day. Lots of newspapers and mags you can read while sitting out a rain shower. Football usually on the telly. OH, and damn good German beer too.

the only thing, and its funny, i see alll cool bm's talking about the BG7, but i find the level of farangs in BG7 less than desirable to have a chat with.
during the day, i like finding someone half-way intelligent to have a chat with while drinking a few beers

You thinking of this guy, in his sequined shirt and Elvis hairdo..?
Snapped with my old cameraphone (apols for awful quality - but you get the idea) in the middle of the day BG7.

Yes, I must say some of the clientel looked when I was there looked like a weird bunch.
Somehow, seeing a man in his late fifties, jeans, tanktop and wearing sunglasses, with red flamed glass, inside the tent, while its raining outside in november seems a bit too weird to me. Thne again, I might look like a dork to many also....So..
But I will check into Beergarden within a weeks time and see if its become better since last time

Who will be there?
Hey guys,
I'll be in BKK for only two nights on 29th & 30th of May. I'll be picking up my renewed passport and on my own.
Anyone going to be around to hang out, have many beers and go trawling for women?
Let me know....

Dingo's,
You would be best off in the Down Under bar on soi 7/1 to meet up with some drinking buddies.

Hey Sledge,
Yeah, that's always a certainty. I was just in there two weeks ago for two days with a mate. I've noticed that the girls have disappeared from there but that's normal when a new owner takes over....
I'll be there for sure but also like the Beer Garden

I agree GeorgeLondon. I landed at BG a few months back, and there seemed to be alot of nice choices during the afternoon. a few wanted a twosome, but only wanted 1.
Has anyone been to Lolita's? Is it better than the one in Pattaya? The one in Pattaya is great.
