Work, hmmm. That is indeed the main problem, although getting paid to be somewhere you love ain't all bad.
However, having had work experience with Thais before, I tend to drive them as hard as possible at the start

so we can relax towards the end of the project rather than the other way round. They know this and, having seen the advantages (what pressure come deadline time?) they tend to go, albeit kicking and screaming, along with it.
Sooooo, the upshot is a reasonable amount of free time later on. And, of course, there's all their hoidays to take as well as ours. Best of both worlds.
And the best bit is coming home to the UK just in time to get on a flight back for holidays in August.
Ain't life grand?
