Majestic Grande Hotel

Anybody stayed in Majestic Grande? Please tell me your impressions about this hotel, situation, rooms, if they have a safe inside each room, and if is it possible to take a girl or two to the room without paying any allowance.
Cheers

I stay there everytime I am in Bangkok. In my opionion a superb hotel. Good location, great rooms (especially the deluxe ones), superb service and the Italian restaurant in the lobby is also really good to be honest.

The location is really good for mongering. Very close to Nana Plaza (about 3 minutes walk) and also you have Annie's massage right across from the hotel. The BTS skytrain is also within walking distance so getting around in Bangkok is no problem.

In regards to bringing guests there is no joiner fee, but they do require the girl to leave their ID with the security guard. I only brought girls in the first time I was there and never had any hassle or problems. The last 3 times I have stayed there it has been with my TGF and they always treat her politely and with respect.

The rooms have safe deposit boxes.

Only two things that I dont like about this hotel.

1. Their elevators are slow as hell
2. They dont have a bonus/frequent stayer programme :o)

Other than that I recommend it. Book on their internet site before arrival and you should be able to save a few bath on their rates.

One thing I can reccomend is the breakfast, Its a buffet type plenty of choice and eat as much as you want.

When i stayed there, jet lag hit for a cpl of days and I wide awake 6 o'clock in the morning and starving, I ate enough for the day.

I agree, it's a top place.

Stayed in the suite they have because I liked the sound of the outdoor jacuzzi. Was good, but there are a lot of floors above that can look down and into the jacuzzi when you're in it. After a few beers I didn't mind but some of the TG's were a little concerned about being watched.
