Hi,
In Europe all the people goes to the discos at 1 am or 2 am, and stay at 5 or 6 am, how is the schedule in Bangkok of the Discos and nightclubs?

most will shut at 1..they've clamped down a lot on the opening times. always places to be found tho that open later. my hotel bar will serve 24hours!!! ( dynasty)

If they shut at 1 am, at what time did they open? What's the best time to go in, in places like Q Bar?

Q Bar starts moving a bit around 11 PM. So it is short time to enjoy...

At present it seems that opening hours are a bit more relaxed. Nana Plaza until 2 AM as Soi Cowboy. At Q Bar it is a bit erratic. Some days 1 AM sharp other days close to 2 AM and anywhere in between...

sounds a bit ruff the bars shutting so early, but when im in bkk i go out in the afternoon for some fun...then back to hotel, change..and out again. it suits me just fine, ive usually had enough by the time the bar shuts.
the bars open pretty early..some from 9am!!!

Thats cause it is rough, Really hate that and one of the reasons I didnt go back again since my first trip there last April, Only stayed 2 nights but that was more than enough for me at the time, Remember thinking... Is this it?

Anyway I am going to give it another go this trip, Gonna stay in Bkk for 5 nights this time...

But if it turns out anything like the last stay there, Then it will be my last one there...

Nana disco closed at 3.00am last week when I was there.....the latest I have ever been there..........normally 2.00am

And don't they clear the niteclub quickly when it's time to close......could not believe how quickly and orderly people left the premises.

Yeah Mav they sure do.........but some of those gals like to take their time once they get outside into the carpark.......55555..........but that's another story

CAN only think of 2 late night drinking venues in bangkok
l the coffee shop at the grace hotel on soi nana thai i had some beers there at 5 am in november and there were still people there when i left this place used to be famous as a pick up joint for freelancers (mostly arab punters) but now because it is widely known for being open late their is a much more varied clientelle including plenty of girls only problem because of its popularity they now charge at the door for entry i think it is 80 bhat.

2 half way up sukhumvit road soi 19 on the left side of the road just before you hit the 2 7/11 shops turn into the alley on the left and there is a small hotel on the right with massage parlour and upstairs bar which opens from 10pm untill 4.30 am lots of ladies there will try to find its name later

Agree. BKK may shut down early, but after hours of drinking and playin w/ the lovelies all day at Nana & Soi Cowboy, not to mention an afternnon romp from the BG7, I'm ready to take one in for the night.

Some of the discos on the main road stay open but turn the music down abit.
