I wonder if it has reached the office environments around the world yet, we would get a funny come in and then just forward it on to our mates working down the road, across the city, etc.. loads of foreigners working there too (SA's, Aussies, US, etc..) and they would forward to their mates/friends at home. It's amazing how something so irrelevant can literally cross the world in a matter of minutes, and reach an audience so huge!!

One I remember was a guy who had ditched his wife while she was on holiday, and was floggin "my ex-wifes knickers" on eBay. Everybody was taking a look and the hits on that auction were astronomical.
Remember getting a screenshot of being the highest bidder at one point eBay pulled it pretty quick though.
