Gym in Bangkok (near Meritus Suites on Sukhumvit)

Hi guys,

I am staying at the Majestic Suites on Sukhumvit. Between Soi 4 and Soi 6. Does anyone know of a good gym nearby? I don't think the hotel has one??

thanks

You can go and work out at Fitness First. It is located on the 4th floor of the Landmark Hotel suk soi 4,100 meter from your hotel

Excellent!! Thanks heaps for that.

I am a member of FitnessFirst in Australia. I didn't realise they were in Thailand.

I just gave my branch a call and all i need to do is get a temporary pass from here and show it to the club in Thailand and i can use their facilities!

...and not far from the hotel...double plus!

I think you are meaning Majestic Suites but in your heading you are asking about Meritius Suites, which was located on Silom and is now renemed in La Bua. Just to be sure that you booked the right hotel.

On Sukhumvit. As said in the Landmark you find Fitness First. Further on the corner of soi 23 you find California Wow. Almost opposite, in the Exchange Tower on the Asok intersection you will find True Fitness.

When i was in BKK back in 04 I used "SILOM CITY" gym because it was cheap compared to places like Fitness First. Anyone know of any back alley hard core gym that is cheap......?

JW Marriott

I think there's also a gym in the JW Marriott. If you're not staying a the hotel, you can still use it for a fee.

There is quite an adequate gym in the JW Marriott. Expensive to use if you are not staying in the hotel, but you can pay to use it. Im sure there are ways to use it for free as well, but you have to be a bit tricky
