Nearest beaches are at Chonburi. At least 100kms away. If you want beaches,go to Phuket or closer to BKK ,Jomtein beach at Pattaya 2hrs drive away.

Is it wise to ask a girl to show u around and where good beaches are? Are there any hotels near beaches as by the looks of it if you wanna go to a beach u gotta make a day out of it. And are hotels more expensive since they r right next to a hotel. And what are the chances of you been refused to stay at a hotel because u have a thai girl with u?

3 Yes
4 Maybe, depends on their Guest policy.

Some strange questions here. I think maybe you should read a lot more of this forum and using the Search button.

You got a girl, take her around as well as boom boom. Lots of hotels in Patong near the beach. I stayed in the cheapest hotel I could book and it was ten minutes walk and was girl friendly and very friendly staff.

Are you real??????? Just prepare yourself a little bit before going on a holiday to Thailand. Search this forum for all your answers. And I think when you check in to a hotel with someone (does not matter who), you will always be accepted.

If you are going to base yourself in Bangkok then going to the beach is a day trip.

Please read the forum and look at a map of Thailand and then of Phuket, Pattaya, and Koh Samui and you will probably answer your own questions.

[?QUOTE]And are hotels more expensive since they r right next to a hotel.[/quote]

Did you really mean to say this? or was the second "hotel" supposed to be "beach"? Any hotel near the beach is more expensive than something half a mile away. You pay for the words ocean view and ocean front.

get a girl friendly hotel something that has been discussed on this forum in depth.

is a 5 to 10 minute walk to the beach cause it to be an all day affair? Lots of 15-20 euro hotel rooms that far from beach in Pattaya, Phuket and Koh Samui and some even closer.

Hello Vxdxm,

I found a good thread by an old hand at LOS. But then again i have loads of time to read at work!

http://www.phuket-info.com/forums/ne...ng-patong.html

looks like good advice, and the other old hands tend to agree with MAC...

I haven't been to LOS yet, but that will all be changing in 46 days (Approx.) !!!!! Can't wait! First stop EDEN Club... (for the wide selection of quality beers available! Oh yeah its meant to be handy enough to get chattin' up the local talent???)

Have a good Trip man

Thanks for the link, it turns out that Patong is the place to be for white sand and nice beaches. I will spend a few days in Bangkok, people say 3-4 days is more than u need then hit phuket. Flight time from Bangkok to Phuket is 1:15hr and the price of a ticket is 2000Baht. 10 flights a day from Bangkok airport. Even hotels are cheaper there than in Bangkok. If you think i have provided inncorect information for any of the above, please correct me, as it will benefit myself and others.

Pad MC 46 days is a long time that will fly by in no time Im leaving next saturday, havent purchased the tickets yet, but dont think it will be a problem buying last minute tickets, as i understand its a low season.

Same as that...

I think i will get Bangkok Air down south. I see prices quoted now at B 2750 one way... Good enough for me.
I have had some bad experieces in Europe with low cost carriers... mad delays, no one to take the bags from the flippin' plane, airport in the middle of nowhere etc etc.

Yep. I've been hearing 3 or 4 nights in BKK is enough... But it sounds like a place i could stay for a few more!!!! No fixed plan.... But so far definately BBK and Phuket for at least a week or 10 days... After that i haven't a clue...

Have a good one yourself!

Hope ya have some good stories to tell when ya get back!
