bkk first time and first field report

Thought I would write a field trip of my recent trip to BKK and Pat, just an attempt to give something back to the great forum thaqt has given me so much.

Hopw I can contribute something good here (though I now you are all a bunch of LOS pros)

Day 1.

Finally arrived after the 15 hour flight from the Manchester. Phew. Flew etihad airways (380 return) quite nice, own toich screen tv and two meals. one stop over in abu dhabi, but you have an increased booze allowence from the uk to here so made the most of it :-)

anyway, arrived at bkk and tried to take your advice over rip off taxis,tried to get a decent price but surrendered in the end to 700bt.
had problems explaining the Dynasty Grande to the taxi woman, but got her to ring the normal dynasty and they got directions for me.

arrived at the dynasty grande and was impressed. was greated with a glass of wine and taken to my room.

was as horny as hell as you would imagine, after all those days wait and reading so much on the net,i had to get out there and easy myself in... if you know what i mean.

so,headed out to climitase to the bar scene, walking past nana hotel and nana plaza and all other places i had heard about.

ended up stumbling down soi 7/1, clocked the eden club and made a mental note a small smile crossed my face. i couldne beleive that i was finally here.

saw the down under and noticed that the soccer would be on tonight, so i made a note to come back later. for now i had more pressing things on my mind. :-)

stumbled passed the Sweethearts club at the bottom of soi 7/1 where a little cutie called ill caught my eye.

totally fluent in the langiage of the monger thanks to you guys I made the required small take, bought a lady drink and bar fined the little hottie. apprently she was from issan and had been in bkk a week, her english was bad. but that didnt really bother me

took ill back the to dynasty grande and was given a few funny looks by the staff. not suprised really since i had only been booked in 20 mins.

was shocked by how naive and shy ill was, all towels and running to the bathroom.

anyway, welcomed my self to bkk and throughly settled in. waived ill good bye after 4 hours with 2000bkk,thought i would be generous as she went beyond the call of duty.

had a quick nap and aquainted myself with the surrounding of the dynasty grande. quite nice i had to say, clean, excellent size room and the introductory rate made things quite sweet.

headed out to get something to eat and went to down under for the footy.

got speaking to the owner thomas who was a really nice chap, told me about himself and got quite friendly with a nice thai girl called nok. bought aher a few drinks as we watched england throw it away on penalties.

anyway, before i know it nok is telling me she wants to come home with me and that she likes me and if a i wait a bit we can avoijd the bar fine. so pulled nok and took her of for a night of passion.


day 2

next day she said that she wanted to come to pattaya with me. i declined her offer and headed out to see bkk at large. i had an errand to perfomr first, namely buying some goodies from Pantip Plaza so jumped in a tuk tuk and paid 100 baht for a trip over, bought some gooies and paid the same to come back. i know its ove rthe odds, but i had just got there and was dying to try out a tuk tuk.

got soemthing to eat and had a kip. woke up, got ready for battle and headed to NEP. has a look around and ended up in rainbow . got to say, i wasnt that impressed with the gogos, somebodies always hassling you and it has this wierd shamefull sex tourist atmosphere. i tried to talk to a few fellow mongers but they where having none of it.

barfine some hottie called porn and took her back to the room. was not impressed, attitude, was in and out on 30 mins, not in the slitestbit interested.

crestfallen after my first super day, i decided i was going back on the hunt and prepared myself for battle. first, i headed back to down under to see if i could get my hands on nok. had a chat with thomas but it seems that nok had hurt her bum and was not coming in today. i tired not to laugh when he told me this, though he finished his sentance saying that she had fallen of her bike so i didnt feel too bad :-)

headed back down the soi to the sweethears club, ill was there and asked me to bar fine her which i did...

day 3

was determined to see something not whorist related and headed out with ill in tow to the grand palace. i was amazed at the place and would definatly like to come back high season and see it again. ill seemed to like it as it was her first time.

next i dragged my tg to the canal to take one of those trips. obviously i got massivly ripped off and paid 900bt per person to spen an hour in a floating rickshaw in an open sewer and look at poor river kids!

still, one of those things, and seeing this side off bkk hammered home how most people in the work live. us mongers (for i am no amoungst you) come from our cushy backgrounds and lord it up. some of these people have it bad

headed back to bkk with ill in tow and got something to eat. then for another season

day 4

bidd goodbye to ill as this was to be my last day in bkk before heading to pattaya. went for a walk and got a taxi to mbk. decided i was going to leave the soapy for pattaya after a trip to darling massage and getting annoyed at the arsehole guy. what an excuse to head to the eden club!

anyway, got to say, i was a little dissapointed, im going to try this place again, but im more interested in the quality of girls, and even though they do everything, they didnt do anything for me looks wise. also 4000bt or whatever it was is a lot.

went and got something to eat and then headed out to the thermae. had read so much about this place thaks to you guys that i simply had to go!

well, i was totally blown away when i went in, a few seats, a big bar and loads of girls.

id decided that day that i wanted to get my hands on one of these super cute mini thai girls so picked one out and as per this forum smiled and asked her over. i bought her a drink and dispensed with the friend and off we went for somthing to eat. i was hoping to watch the footy first but as everywhere closes at 1pm we could only watch it in the hotel.

was a little shocked at little noy, first off there was no hiding behind the towel and covering ourseles with the sheets... anything went. she event told me she didnt think i was a buffalo and told me stories of taking pictures of herself with a client then threatening to send them to his house.

she even told me that she had been paid 3000bt a day by one english guy to sleep with him and wank him off every night! that went on for a month.

anyway, woke up the next day with noy leaving me and wishing me well. again gave her 500k over the asking price as i was so happy.

day 5
off to pattaya!

the dynasty has a free transfer to its sister hotel in pattaya so i decided to take advantage of this. slept on the way down and had a throughly good sleep.

arrived and decided to go for a bit of a walk, seeing as its low season it is a bit quiet. however, i bkk has a girl for every guy, patt has a bar for everyguy.

i wasnt simply choosing a girl to have to myself, i was choosing a bar to have to myself!

settled at first on de star bar on soi 13/1 (i think). i had seen a hottie at first at office girls on the same street but thought she had already been barfined and she asked me to comeback tomorrow.

so picked up nog after buying her a few drinks and went for something to eat.

went to one of those rip off places on walking street, but i say to myself, when in rome and i was desperate to try some great seafood. a plate of oysters went down extremely well.

took nog back to the hotel nd throughly enyoyed the rest of the day and night with her.

day6

dispensed with nog in search of newer climes. thought i should give a go go another try and headed to shark agogo, i went to a few places in soi13 1+2 nut they didnt really do anything for me. Classroom was ok, but nothing special.

anyway, got hold of a real little cracker and headed back to the hotel for a bit of afternoon delight,

headed back out later that night and ended up across the road from the dynasty in the bar across the road (sorry can remember the name) watched thr footy and got talking to a puchy little number called nok. decided i had had enough for a bit and ignored her repeated request for me to barfine her.

day 7 and 8

did plan to head back to bkk tomorrow, but thought what the hell. had a realy good look around and despite having elaborate plans to barfine two hotties and take them to pattaya park,i just didnt manage to. what i didnt manage to do was spenmd the day drinking and end up in the bar opposite jenny start bar. had a good time watching all the trannies and tourists going around pretending to be really nonche about it.

anyway, before i knew it i was being chatted up by toot (or something like that) , but the night was young and so where the other girls. so i bought her a few drinks, made a bit of polite conversation and said i might be back later.

anyway, i few minutes later i found myself two bars down (cant remember the name but the bar it two bars down, quite small on a corner and on the same side ) and got talking to the lovely joy and oom. oom wasnt my type, but spoke good english and joy was so after having a chat with the two of them barfined them both and got dragged to tonys.

managed to avoid paying anything to get into tonys, and despite the place being universally slated, i have to say i liked it as did the girls. though i didnt liked getting stung 550 bt for a singa and two sprey coolers!

that said it was worth it just to see the look on some boring american girls face when i had to ladies rubbing themselves up against me and kissing popcorn into my mouth :-)

said good bye to oom and then headed back to the hotel.

next day bar fined joy again and spent the day with her seeing pattaya, the beach and also teaching her how to play pool.

these girls really are something else as one minute she is telling me that she has only been here 3 weeks and the next she is making a sneaking phones call to some american saying things like "next time i ring we discuss visa". i rellay dont know what to make of them. on the one hand they are some charming and femine, and you want to beleive her that she is doing this do help mum and dad in surin, but then when you see that you do wonder. joy left the next morning as she said she was a bit sore and wanted a day off so we parted company.

day 9.

wanted an easy day as i was leaving tomorrow and went for a massage of several. i did mean to go to the soapy today, but for some reason got distracted. evening i decided to head out to waiking street one last time. as it was a buddah day the gogos where shut but the girls where in effect freelancing and in future this may be a good tip to pick up a stunner on the sly with less cost and no bar fine. went down to the beach road to see what was knocking about and have to admit it was not my thing. i did see one stunner with her friend, but only the frind was available so we parted company. anyway thought i would start the night with a few drinks, and before i now it toot has come from nowhere asking me what happened the other night and where i had got to. well i could ttell her the truth now so i bought her a few drinks and got talking with her. she was sooo horny apparently and had not had a man in 3 weeks! but she was still not my time so i said we should go somewhere else and get a few drinks.

to keep costs down we settled on sitting next door to the jenny star bar and buying for the off license shop next to jenny star bar. then, guess who turns up, only the stunner from beach road. so after speaking to the stunner, toot and the stunners friend and buying each other a few drinks i mamaned to coerce the little beach road stunner back to the dynasty for a fairwell session.

day 10

sadly had to leave. those cheeky buggers at the dynasty charged my 1700bt for the taxi back to the airport, though in fairness it was mini van to myself.



Well, thats my field trip, hope you enjoy.

i have a few regrets in that i did not go to the biergarden, soi cowboy and a soapy, but you cant do everything and consideringit was my first trip thanks to you guys i did quite well.

i do have a few questions for future trips:

1.i flew for 380 quid, can you get it cheaper?
2. Has anybody stayed at the Areca Lodge in pattaya?
3. good soapy in pattaya for next time (want to willing tgs)
4.the taxi situation going from Bkk airport to Pattaya. How do I do it?
5. How do the baht busses work in pattaya, can i use one for longer distances?
6. does anybody have a list of thai food dishes with the thai english pronounciation? would be dead handy
7. Any body know the situation on teaching english ang living in bkk? is the money so bad you could not mong?

sorry for the chronic spelling, but i have already lost this once and was loath to type it agian.

as this was my first trip, i didnt know all the little scams and consequently paid more than i should have in many areas, i was also quite liberal with the cash and had no quarms taking a bg for a meal or drink.

i took 900 with me and spent the lot

i now in future that i could save on this, but bkk and that type of hotel (dynasty grande) do cost. im sure i lost out due to the dynastys ****ing around over cash. i havea feeling i may have takena bit of a hit here.

i thing the biggest way to lose cash no matter where you are is to doubling on a girl. what i mean is that if it doesnt work out and you go to get a replacemement or its reaching 10 and you want to replace your current hottie then you are going to take a hit. that way you do 'double ' your freedom and fun; alas at the expense of your budget. double the bar fine, fee, drinks, lady drinks, transport etc

Could you expand a bit on the Dynasty Grande? What do you mean "F*** around over cash" ??? The reason i ask, I am/was booking in there for 4 nights in late august. I asked them in the on-line reservation form 1)Are the guest friendly? I know from this fourm they are but i wanted to clarify and hear it from them. 2)Could i get a top floor room with good views of the City? 3) Can they pick me up from the airport?

I got a quote of b1800 per night for a deluxe room... But they didn't answer any of my other questions??????

I know the other Dynasty Inn is cheaper, so i might stay there instead. I'm not sure yet.... But i will be interested in what you have to say about the Grande ?

i would certainly stay at the grande, the cheap cost at the mo is a great bonus.

with regards the cash i think they may have charged me a day extra. i have the feeling that as i went to pattaya early they may have messed things up. just a bit of a hunch as they seemed a bit disorgansied. if i where you stay there, but pay in one lump for the nights you are going to be there. the english spoken is no good (no as good as the dynasty in pattaya) but certainly stay there.

i also found there emails a bit poor. but dont worry, just explain it one point at a time when you get there.

the room was spotless and large for 25 quid a night,it also over looked the pool which was nice. the views i doubt are greay anyway so i wouldnt bother with that.

room service is quite good as they have a good restaurant so you can get it for 100/150 bt

electronic code safe is good, and the shower and bathroom are excellent. has a sort of wet room for thew shower and bath. the room as electronically controlled by a consle at the side of the bed that works as an alarm, aircon control and light control. also replaces those little "do not distrub " signs on the door as it lets you flag up whether its time for the made of for privacy.

they are certainly guest friendly and the one in pattaya most certainly was.

i was one guy on my first noight bringing two girls back, he was really exicited, kept joking with the reception staff that they were all going up stairs to play dominoes!!!

definatly give the grande a go.

That was an enjoyable TR. Always nice to see what a newbie makes of the place. I guess you'll be back.

I can answer your 1st and last question pretty easily.

You CAN get cheaper than Etihad £380,but you got a good deal. Some of the other offers involve horrendous layovers,flight times and lesser quality airlines.
I always fly Etihad now and find them first class. Try BA or Air France and see the difference, either in price or quality.

Your last question,there is a BM at this time teaching in BKK, think he has the TESOL qualification. Its possible but the moneys not great.

Bravo, great report! BTW Dyanasty Inn charges extra if you bring back more than one TG.

when was this? i was there in febuary and brought back two a couple of times..was not charged!

Sorry for the bump, just wanted to agree with everyone saying good things about the Dynasty Grande. Friendly staff, really nice rooms, nice pool, no bad points at all that I can think of. I walked in off the street and got a room for a little under 2,000 baht, well worth it.
