Any Suggestions

Hey guys/gals,

I have an american friend flying into bangkok on the 10th, i will fly in to meet him there and on the 13th we will be flying back into phuket. He has been to neither place, so should be interesting. For phuket no worries, but for bkk some suggestions would be nice.

I will be taking him to see the usual things in the day, eg grand palace, wats etc...

At night/late afternoon, will take him all over, Q-bar, bed supperclub, club 87, eden, lolitas, patpong, cowboy, nana and RCA. Do you guys have any suggestions on other places i could take him to?? Thanks guys

Thanks

Keep him away from Alfie, or he will end up broke !

l like 222 Silom Rd as an open air restaurant......and only 10 mins walk to Patpong from there.

Thanks barfly and mlay, some new things there. Will check them out if i have the time... I know we're doing a lot, its more for my mate, as he's flying in from Hong Kong after he visits his parents and is going back to the states from here so i'm just trying to make sure he gets his money's worth if ya know what i mean. Gonna do an english pub crawl with a thai twist.

Yes i know there's better things to do but will be showing him the sights he wants to see, have to see some culture instead of just the nightlife/day massages. Would like for him to go back to the states knowing a little bit about thailand, instead of being stuck inbetween a tg's legs all day. (although i'm quite happy to do that as i've already seen the sights )

I've been trying to figure out what sin soi 4 is... Please explain Roof top bar, i think i've been to that one, its on the roof of a small building yeah?? Walk up two/three flights of stairs and there's a pool table sort of in front of the bar??

Cheers guys, you'll get a trip report with pictures from me this time as i've never written a trip report before... Ohhhh and i've never put pictures up before... Thanks again guys

yoy could get your early evening food at the the huge night market(open air unless it's raining when the roof comes over) next to Lumpini Park. Beer also served! It's also got a huge Big Wheel next to it (to go on BEFORE the food!!). There is also a stage at the other end where live groups may be on.
