hotel reccomendations needed for bkk
hiya guys, im in phuket and me and my gf are going to uk on the 13th august, but unfortunatly the flight is an early morning flight and we have decided to spend one night in bkk, so can anyone reccomend a GOOD CLEAN *CHEAP* hotel not too far from bangkok airport.

Not super cheap, but very nice is the Sofitel near the airport. It's got a nice A/C shopping mall attached for grabbing souvies and a quick bite. BTW, you may want to post in the BKK forum instead.

The "Asia Airport Hotel". Good, clean and cheap. Very close proximity to the airport and free transport as well. It's a large hotel that is attached to a shopping mall... I've stayed there twice when I've arrived on late night flights from the US.
