Where do I find Technics Turntable in Bangkok?
Hi,
I am a new member here.I am planning to go to Bangkok next month which will be my 2nd trip to this place. Can any one give me some idea where from Bangkok I can buy a Technics Turntable(Record Player)?I mean do Technics have any authorised dealer/showroom from where they sell these products?The Turntable I am planning to buy is a DJ - Turntable only. Please help if anyone of you have any ideas? rgds, Boom

Go have a look at Pantip Plaza near the Pratnum Market and World Trade Center.
My suggestion though, would be to get one on eBay - that way, you wouldn't have to shlep it around SE Asia. Sometimes getting cheap stuff is more trouble than its worth. You do have access to eBay in India, right?

There are places in Singapore that sell Technics turntables... Don't know about bangkok or thailand in general... I suspect you could find them in bangkok, i've been looking myself but have only been able to find cd mixers, not vinyl.

I checked up with most of these shops in this link.They now promote only Technics 1200 MK5 model & the price they are quoting is approx 30,000 Bhat which translates to almost 815US $.
In Singapore its much much cheaper.There the price of the same model would be around 600 US$. So I am in a fix!
