Hey all-

I will be arriving in BKK around 11:30PM BKK time after a long trip from the states. I have a flight out of BKK to Phuket the following afternoon. I am looking for the best place to stay that has a couple criteria:

A: Convenient to and from the airport
B: Not too damn pricey
C: Either has a "lively" bar (ummm w/females obviously) onsight or VERY close by that will be open late
D: I can get food...not a must cuz I can always get it at the airport following day

Any advice would be great!!! And yes, I have searched but I haven't come across these exact criteria all together...I'm looking forward to possibly meeting some of you all while I am in Phuket. I will be there for 3 months!!!

Are you arriving pre or post airport move. Remember the new airport opens 28th September, and no one has probably done any reccon around the new area at this stage.

well you are gonna be right on the threshold of 2.00am closing by the time you get into town.....unless you are carrying cabin baggage only.......

But if you get out of the airport by midnight......I know it's unlikely.....head straight to the nana hotel and get yourself into the nightclub......or same same to Novotel Siam Sq and head to the basement.......

He can just hang out at the street bars on Sukhumivt Rd. They are ope till 5 or 6am serving drinks, food, and FLs. Close to all of the hotels on Suk. Just dont stay up to late, drink too much and miss your flight like me.
