International Schools in Bangkok

Hey everyone, my family might be moving to Bangkok at the end of the year/beginning of next year YAY!!!! I'm so excited... But anyway, i've been doing some research on international schools for my little brother (6 yrs old in 2nd grade) I found a long list of International schools in bangkok on the web, but the web cannot always be the most reliable source of information. So my question is this, anyone know of an international school in bangkok that has a good reputation/ best reputation? Because there are so many in bangkok i think its quite difficult to decide, i know i know some of you may say why bother he's only 6, but my family has always believed that one must have a solid foundation from which to go forward. Just so its easier to short list for my parents, any help, suggestions and recommendations would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Oh yeah almost forgot, if you don't know the best school but know the worst i'd also like to know so i can scratch it off my list. Thanks again

My friends' children are in an international school in BKK after the closure (namechange) of "Dulwich". Seems to be even more expensive than Dulwich but top school near Sukumvit. I can ask him if you want.

Dulwich was in Phuket, but after the "fight" between Dulwich UK and the school owner my friend moved to BKK and put his children there in a school. His house in Baan Chern Talay is now only used during school holidays and he is living in BKK.

My friend teaches at Harrow. Mind you, that's not necessarily a recommendation but I heard it's OK.

the 4 main international schools in thailand are Nist, Ris, Bps and ISb. Try searching them up on the websites and u'll know exactly what i mean. ISB n BPS are on the more expensive side though.

Thanks Garyphil, i have already looked at ISB as i used to compete against that school in high school for sports competitions, ISB looked quite good. Will take a look at Nist Bps and Ris. Thanks for that. Much appreciated.

Hi Insomniac.
News from my friend. His children are in
NIST = New International School of Thailand
Sukhumvit Road Soi 15

Must be of a higher standard than Dulwich.

The best international school in Bangkok is pattana on suk 105.

The best up and coming is Bangkok International Prep, soi 53, tim creber the former headmaster of Dulwich is there.

Makes a change from him propping up the bar in that go go in Patong
