Renoirs always used to be good but a while since I've done Soi 33.

How much higher is the going rate at Soi 33 (LT)?
Is the quality better?

best bars change form year to year but Dali, Monet and the one before the Novotel are the best. Livinstones is good for dinner and show, but girls uninspiring....
Napoleon used to be top but now is dowunhill. Vegas and santana depends on the day. barfine 1k-1.2k ST 2k and LT 4k that is what I paid without negotiating anything...

other bars liek The Office and Lookie Lookie are now getting more customergirls are mostly average but look and you will find some gems. There is always a cousin new from the village....

If this is what you paid without negotiating , then to me at least you definately overpaid. Are these prices for Go-Go or Beer Bar ??????

Soi 33 is a higher end, more exclusive area in BKK. Not a go go or beer bar area, ladies wear very nice clothes and not a lot of guys going there so more exclusive. Ladies are all supposed to be stunners, speak multiple languages well, more like an escort service feel than true BG type of area.

Although Soi 33 has been regarded as the higher end of the market (Dont particularly like the word market as it makes it sound like a meat market which i dont mean) I did read on either stickman or bangkok eyes that prices on Soi cowboy are nearing those paid on Soi 33.

I have been down there once for a few beers and there are happy hours in most bars early evening, the bars are all tidy and there are some stunners there, never negotiated prices with any ladies though.

I quite enjoyed Lookie Lookie bar had a game of pool and a great laugh with a girl called Nut that was my first interaction with a Thai girl on my first trip.

I went into a few bars on Soi 33 two years ago and it was interesting. One bar I was at the girls were all behind the bar dressed in evening gowns and there was only one other guy in the bar and he was at a table with a lady. I sat at the bar and all the girls crowded around and were talking to me from behind the bar. There must have been at least 15 of them. Very strange. I think the rule is they can't come out from behind the bar unless you buy them a drink. I felt like buying all of them a drink they looked so crowded behind the bar. Not really my cup of tea and didn't go back the next year but it is intersting and if you're the type who doesn't like the girls climbing all over you in beer bars you might like it--a lot more relaxed atmosphere.

Take a girl from the farm and put a posh frock on them doesnt make them sophisticated.. I guess its not my scene.. Felt pretentious...

Surely not.. I have always felt Cowboy to be one of the most competative entertainment zones.. Kinda 33, Patpong, nana, cowboy in that order..

I had a drink in every bar in soi 33 last nite drunk as a skunk by the end of it , Napoleons had the best girls and livinstones was worth staying a while longer than some of the others , most of the bars had ZERO customers and most of the girls lookedvery bored and fcuked off .

Surely not.. I have always felt Cowboy to be one of the most competative entertainment zones.. Kinda 33, Patpong, nana, cowboy in that order..

Really like The Office. Can see how some might think it a little overdone and sterile is you are use to beer bars, but I like it. having a girl rub my shoulders while watching rugby with a bundy and coke

in my hand cant be all bad!
Went to napoleon bar in April and shot some pool. Good fun had there too but not as relaxing as the office. Sorry. Only know those 2. Will try more next time.

Same as... From my limited experience of BKK.

I was there 2 weeks ago. I would have barfined a few different Gogo girls and one or two BG's. The Gogo girls were asking for bt3000 initially for LT, and bt2000 for ST. But that was VERY negotiable and these were the stunners. I would say to them “Sure just come back for a short time, and see how we get on. We can stop off on the way for a drink or two…” Then I just got chatting to them and try to have a laugh with them. The most I paid for an absolute stunner from Déjà vu was 2400 LT (We had agreed on 2200 after we went for a few drinks in a totally different bar, I gave her 200 because believe me she was worth it.).

Other Gogo girls quoted 2000 LT and 1500 ST. I think it just depended how good looking they were… Again very negotiable…

I must add that a lot of the bars were not that busy and there were girls everywhere… So maybe it was a case of it being a buyers market? Dunno what prices would be like in high season? Do they change dramatically?

Love soi Cowboy more than Patpong and Nana..... Will deffinatly be returning to the dollhouse on my next trip.... I know a lot of people dont talk about it much or prefer other places but Dollhouse has some memories.... Well blurry ones anyway 555555

i stayed at Novotel on Soi 33 2 or 3 times and i really didnt take any special notice to any bar on that street, good or bad
I do like switching from beer bars to higher end places at about 50/50% ratio and ddint really notice anything too greatabout these bars

Was or is the Novotel on Soi 33 guest friendly. I am trying to get into the Royal president where I stayed earlier this year (great room) but trying to cover my options in case I cant. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Am hitting bangkok for 4 nights in early jan.

Don't know if GF but the massage ladies of the hotel are very guest friendly.

And that's the trouble w/ BKK(besides the pollution). Soi Cowboy was great when I first came to BKK 5 years ago. Twice the size it is now, and loads of little beerbars. Now it is all gogos and not much different from Nana, except the prices are a little better. Then Clinton Entertainment Plaza was open, too(Ah, those were the days! Girls, girls, and more girls!) LT last winter was 2000 plus 600 BF there, and I did find a very nice lady that I went with a few times, but I don't remember the name of the gogo. Nana was 3000 LT for any girl who looked pretty good.

My buddy and I found ourselves starting out in Nana for a few beers and a looksee, then spread ourselves around a bit to some bars and discos. If we still didn't score by about 1:30, we would check out Cowboy, and if that failed back to NEP to catch the girls on their way out or in the parking lot across the way. Most nights we found FLs to our liking in one place or another, and ony rarely hooked up with gogos. At 1000 ST, 1500 to 2000 LT, nd no BF, that seemed the best deal, and we were getting girls that were good as most in Cowboy, if not as god as the better caliber in NEP, but almost always way better than Soi 7 beergarten girls, not that we didn't go there occasionally also, most of the girls there are mediocre(some better, some worse).

Soi 33 sounds a little rich for my blood. But maybe I'll check it out. I stayed in a hotel nearly on the other side of Sukhumvit from there, Soi 20 IRC(the numbers on one side are not in sync with the soi numbers on the other side). There were a couple little beerbars on soi 20 that occasionally had a few cuties, as well!

yes its GF, no problem at all
i believe i had 2 girls in my room, not a 3some, just a bg and her friend

and the massage girls are very aggressive that work for the hotel
