Sounds interesting. Interaction of supply and demand. 1000 LT should be the equilibrium price.

I would suspect that the quality of BGs left wouldn't be great.

You might be surprised.....sometimes if a good looker is taken at say 11pm for a ST....they could be back in the Car park at 1am.....also Go Go Dancers that have not been BF'd or also just finishing a ST might be on display as well.

The best time is between 0:30 and 1:30 but as Mav said, sometimes you can find a cute young gogo gile at 3 AM.

Hey mate, I always get the same flight, gets in at 10:45pm. The last 2 trips, I have been sitting in a go-go in Soi Cowboy, by just after 12:30pm. Courtesy of a Thai Airways limo service (by redeeming Frequent Flyer points)
It all depends on your luck thru Customs at the airport.

I'll be there in 3 weeks doing it all over again

....and they think we're all "handsome man" in the carpark at 2am .......lol

Yep, that's the flight!

Sounds promising. Hopefully the new airport might make things quicker through Customs. Will need to work out taxi location arrangements etc - which might add time. If I can get to the hotel before 1am I would be delighted.

I have read a few posts that mentioned the carpark at Nana and it seems like a sex thing somehow.

Asiatravel.com

I use asiatravel to book Majestic Suites and never have any problems. You have to confirm w/a CC but you pay on checkout. The rooms are on the smallish side but very good for the price. Good to here about using the facilities at the Majestic Grand, never knew that.

Majestic Suite

Stayed at the Ambassador last time in Bangkok, hotel was OK, good location.

Had a moment of madness yesterday and booked the Emporium Suites, I wont tell you the price as I’m still in shock! But fcuk it, it’s only three days and for what I’ve been told, it’s a top notch hotel, GF as well!

My only concern is that the Ambassador was from what I remember, very close to Nana Plaza if walking. Emporium is down further at Soi 24.

* Has anyone ever stayed at the Emporium?

* Is there anything worth going to around that area? I’ve heard it’s a bit more office/city like.

Thanks in advance if you can help.

Tom

10 more days!!!!!

Emporium Suites is indeed a good choice. Not as hotel but serviced apartments, what is a favourable thing in my book.

Great location. Skytrain station at your doorstep and good shopping as well. many decent places to eat and not far from Cowboy indeed. No walking but if you take a taxi via soi 31 you are there in a little over 5 minutes. nana is between 5 and 10 minutes away by taxi...

Another time.... good choice!

Thanks TTB. Was worried I went down too far from the hot spots.
