Ko Kret Island Bangkok

Have any member ver visited this island, situated in the Chao pray river in Bangkok, should be a nice place for an picnic.

think i will try to visit it, next time in Bangkok.

I was there last month (my second visit).

It's worth a look! The best way to go there is to go to Mo Chit BTS station and take a cab there to Phra Ket (around 150 B, tollways included).
To go to the Island, you have 2 choices: the public boat or the long tail boat. I rent a long tail boat for 400 B (for the afternoon).
In Koh Kret, you have many places to look at: bakeries, ceramics, wood carving, ... And good news: prices are clearly indicated on items and believe me, it's cheap.

I will give it a try......seems like a good place to unwind, before engaging in other local activities at night
