new member and will be a first time visitor to bangkok in march will be travelling alone ,so any info or advice will be appreicated.have looked at alot of the info on here and would like to say it has been interesting and enjoyable reading through it.will be staying at the nana hotel .is it advisable for me to go to phuket or pattaya this trip or leave it for the future.

Phuket or Pattaya? Kinda depends on how long your vacation is. If you do feel you have the time, flights are not too expensive, and the places are worthwile in to own right to go see. Cheers, and have a good trip.
