irish in bangkok

is their a bar or area where irish people weather living or holidayin in bankok go 2 ??? is their many irish living in the city or anybody kno

Theres the shamrock on Ko San Rd. Good live bands (Thai!!!!).

I was in it for a few hours one night... Had to leave... Too many Paddies!

Well the only one I have been to in Bangkok was the Dubliner, And I used to go down there for food nearly everyday, Honestly some of the best grub being served in there, I would totally recommend the Cottage/Sheppards Pie, It was heavenly

Next time I will have to check out the X-change Bar aswell...

PS: The food is expensive enough in these places though, I think it was around 250-290bt for the Pie, But for me its more than worth paying a little extra for food that you are going to really enjoy..

irish pub just off patpong cant remember road name.
think it was called xchange had great local thai band,good food and newspapers from allround the world(was good reading sydney morning hearald in bangkok)
food was good but a little expensive and beer was also a bit more than normal,enjoyed a couple of nights there and would return again.

Its between Soi 22 and 24 on Sukhumvit Rd... If your on the Sky Train from Nana say, You get off at the second stop when you leave Nana station heading towards Soi Cowboy... I think its called Phrom Pong station, Now when you get off the train, Kept to the right side of Sumkumvit (Nana side) and walk back a couple of hundred yards and you cant miss it..
