Nap-Inn
Hi Folks,
I will be in bkk next month and hoping to find a cheap accomodation. Preferably something below 1000thb/nite. Came across the website of Nap-Inn, located at soi nana. Rooms look good and at 800thb/nite, seems like a steal.
Did a search on the forum, but no information. Will deeply appreciate if you guys can post your experiences with this hotel. Was looking at the map, but can't really estimate the dist from hotel to nana bts. Hope its not going to be a long walk.
Thanks in adv for the inputs
Cheers

IIRC I think mav stayed there?? I've seen it mentioned in a trip report here I'm sure.
I'm half planning on trying it out myself for one night on my next trip, as you say seems like a good deal and better than most of the shite on soi 3.

Spot on Brit...........stayed there for 3 nights in August at 800 per night l think........lt was good little clean hotel.....all the rooms had recently been refurbished.......rooms are not huge but everything else was fine.
l will be looking to stay there again.
It's 2 mins walk to NEP.....and about 5 mins to Nana BTS

Am thinking either Grand Business Inn or Nap-Inn
But guess Nap-inn it is... don't mind a small room as long as its new and clean. (of coz the proximity to nep plays a part )
1000thb for a suite sure is a good deal.
will post some picts of the room when i am back
Thanks for the input, Mav... appreciate it
Cheers

Sh#t Mav ....just made my booking at the Dynasty as Majestic Suites are all full and Nana Hotel was full as well. This is in two weeks time, so hope the noise level has gone. Will make a report when I get back.

I realize this is digging up an old post, but could people give updates to Nap-Inn?
I tried to look up the place on both google maps and yahoo maps but couldn't locate it. On google, everything was in thai, so I couldn't read it.
It seems the place is close to NEP and the train station, which is good. I plan on just using taxis to get a massage or two and then head to NEP for some nighttime fun.
I've also gathered that it is GF.
I booked at Nap-Inn already but since they don't require me to pay in advance, I can still look around.

it is damn hard to find at first.
if you walk from NEP down Soi 4 it is at the end of a small soi on the left hand side.
Rooms are small but confortable and it is girl friendly.
I would rather stay at Dynasty Inn but as Mav stated there was alot of building work at the time.

Oh....l knew Dynasty would have been better, but seeing l suggested Nap Inn, lets not think that was a good choice or anything.
And you got the best room u ungrateful bastard......l was the one with the cockroach doing backstoke in my wardrobe (notice l didn't say closet LIL)
Yes....l am very wary of construction noise.........well most of the time.

Thanks you two for the extra help.
I would have preferred Nana hotel but they were fully booked and I didn't want to go to Majestic Suites this time.
I shall check out the rest on subsequent travels.
Now I guess the only hard part is to get my taxi driver to find the place. Seeing as this is my first time in BKK, I know this may take longer than the seasoned BM's.
I will follow your directions though.

I stayed at the Dynasty Grande at my last trip and I asked them about the Dynasty Inn and when construction might be complete. They said is was all done. I did not personally confirm this with a visit, but did walk by and saw no construction.

When I went to Majestic Suites... I got taxi driver to drop me off outside NEP and just walked around the corner..... he did not have a clue where the hotel was but knew fully well where NEP was!! at 7.30am in the morning I was happy to walk the 200 metres around the corner!!

Yeah, but the trouble is I don't know where everything is as its my first time there. I will lookup more maps and stuff before I embarrass myself over there.
