Trendy Restaurants in Bangkok

Can anyone help me out with some restaurants to visit in Bangkok. I know of 87 at the Conrad and the Metropolitan Hotel but thats it. Or an area to check out. Thanks

Here are 2 on my list:

1. Lemongrass, on Sukhumvit Soi 24 next to the Emporium shopping center.
This is a well priced modern thai eating experience where the food still brings to you it's roots...try thr sticky rice and mango fpr desert. It's terrific.

2. Le Dalat on Sukhumvit Soi 23, just down the road from Soi Cowboy. A bit more upscale than Lemongrass; it's the best Vietnamese in the city. Top-notch staff and chefs. Not cheap, but plenty of value for the baht.

3. The Bamboo club in The Oriental is a safe bet, too. You also get the benefit of being in the top jazz club in Bangkok. The view also helps.
