Golfing near Bangkok - advice

Hello,

I will be staying at the Tara hotel, was wondering if any of you have recommendations for a decent golf course near that hotel, Soi/24. I'll want to golf on 2.24, I am pretty sure the hotel can make a recommendation and get things setup, but wouldn't mind a tip or two from you all...

There is plenty of great golf around Bangkok, but none 'close' to Soi 24.

Depends on your price range as well.

The best golf is within one hour of Bangkok, I'd personally recommend Subrapreuk, Samut Prakarn. Easy to get on the BN-T from Soi 24, exit and Bang Bo, I think it's exit 4, it's near ABAC (Assumption) University campus in SP.

The closest golf to you would be Unico (which is shite) or Krungthep Kreeta, maybe Muang Kaew (over priced). There are a couple of inner city golf 'experiences' but they are all rubbish.

Get a bit out of ton and experience real Thai golf......best part of living here.

There is nothing that jumps out on the bangkok list, Surrounding is what you need. From Soi 24, I'd stick to Samut Prakarn from Soi 24. Get a taxi to take you and wait, it'll cost a bit, but plenty of guys do it.
