Delayed Trip Report Pt. 1, plus a question.

G'day all. It's been awhile since I've posted, so I'd thought I'd share my past 4-5 months of activity because the feet are starting to get itchy again.
My last trip to LOS was last October, a tour of just Bangkok and Pattaya. It comprised of 10 nights in Bangkok (2 of which were working days seperated by a week in between), then 3 nights in Pattaya.
Of course I had a blast as always in the City Of Angels, I always book my hotel strategically in the realms of Soi 21 to be close to all the things I need to be close to (office, transport, shopping, beer and some of the finest women on the planet).
I must say though, after 4 or 5 nights I was exhausted, completely worn out.
I had to spend a day and a night just laying in bed and doing nothing to get my energy back up to where it needs to be when you are a single bloke in his mid-20's in Bangkok. I'd met up 2 girls I had seen on previous trips, which has it's advantages and disadvantages.

Girl #1 "Tip" is your standard Thai BG - all sweet talk and tells you what you want to hear. She met me as I came off the plane and we drove into Sukhumvit to my apartment near Cowboy. During the drive she tells me that she is no longer working in the bar, and is studying at University full-time. I entertain this little story as I know she is genuinely embarrassed about working in the bar and wants to impress me. We drop my stuff off at the apartment and go down to the bar where she "used to work". Her sister is on-stage dancing in the bar because she she has just moved down to BKK from Chiang Mai. We are seated in the back of the bar and there are about 8 or 9 other girls seated on-and-around our laps asking Tip about who I am, and whether I want to BF any of them instead of hanging aorund with Tip (this is also known as the Butterfly test). Being wise to the Butterfly test I poiltely decline, which only impresses all the BG's even more. After an hour or so, we're getting free drinks and laughing and I'm talking to the mamasan, who tells me I am a "good man", and that her girls will take good care of me. After too many drinks Tip and I go back to my loom, which is only 5 minutes walk away, and we have a great time as we did last time I was in BKK.

The next morning she proceeds to tell me about her farang "uncle" who pays for her university and her apartment in BKK. Her sister last night at the bar also supported this story. I just keep nodding and telling her thats nice. Later that day I have learnt that her "uncle" is a 60 year old Aussie guy, who works in BKK a few months a year, but that he can't BOOM-BOOM, because he is too old, my discussion with her about the easiness to obtain Viagra in Bangkok was suitably ignored. She shows me a video of her uncle thats on her phone: Yes, he is old.....but the video was taken by her lying in bed, watching him put on his tie in a mirror, the funny thing you can see her in the mirror's reflection lying bare ass naked on the bed......these girls make me laugh!
I send her off to university, I will see her several times in the next week or so, she pops around for BOOM BOOM, we go get something to eat, do a bit of shopping, she shows me all the good places to go in Bangkok, then she goes back to her "uncles" place for the night. This leaves me the night's free to meet up with several other BG's in Soi Cowboy during that week, so all in all, it's a good dea for me.

Girl #2 "Jai" is not a BG at all, she has a great job in the finance industry and I met her through my work. She knows about my "extra-cirricular activities" with girls in BKK, but nevertheless has been harassing me to take her out to dinner since I arrived, so I happily oblige. This girl looks after me in the tourist sense of the word, we go to all the temples and the beer-gardens and see all the sights of the city, great restaurants and bars, and we really get along very well. I learnt so much about Thai culture and how to get around the city with her, it was fantastic.
She's one of these girl's who has an image of an ideal of life in her head, and really wants to make that happen. That image was a farang with blonde hair and a few kids living happily in either Thailand or Australia. Because of this she is very keen to make a relationship with me, and tries desperately to see me every night, and asks me to pick her up from her work etc.etc.etc. I tell her this is not what I'm looking for but she persists nevertheless. This is frustrating because (to be honest) I want to meet some new people and have some fun, but her kindness in showing me around can't be ignored.

The last 3 or 4 days in BKK were a grind, I was trying to keep Jai happy, whilst also fitting in massages at Bangkok Teen Massage and a quick beer-and-service at Lolita's most days, plus scouring the Go-Go's in the evenings, so I was glad to get moving and go out to Pattaya to slow down the pace a bit, turn off my mobile phone for a few days and just chill out. I'd also never been to Pattaya before, so I was pretty excited.

My first night in Pattaya, I met a girl (non-working girl) near the beach, she heard my aussie accent and came over to introduce herself as she also lives in Australia. She's actually Phillippino, but moved to OZ 15 years ago. So we got along really well and I went with her and her 3 friends to dinner and drinks and dancing, we got pretty drunk and she ended up staying with me at my hotel, we stayed indoors for the entire next day and were very totally immersed in ourselves. She was going back to BKK that evening, so I decided to skip out on my last 2 nights in Pattaya and go with her. I spent the last 2 nights in BKK with her doing typical touristy things, shopping in markets, Khao San Road and drinking in the Singha Beer Park...we had a great time. I flew home before her, she was to fly home a week later.

We kept talking on the phone and I eventually met up with her as soon as she got back to Sydney, we continued to see eachother from last October to last week, and I learnt alot about the Philippines, Phillippino culture, and of course, met alot of her Philo friends who were absolutely gorgeous!!!!

To cut a long story short, we've just broken up, so I'm keen for another overseas trip. It's been 4-5 months since I was last in LOS, and the LOS blues are starting to hit me again. I never got to see Pattaya, so that's one option for me. The other one is to go to Philippines and meet some of the gorgeous girls over there, maybe go to AC or something like that. I've read a bit on these forums about AC, but would be keen to know what you guys who have been there think, Pattaya or Philippines? I know Pattaya has the obvious bonus of the beaches nearby, but I'd be keen to hear any opinions, when you compare the girls in the 2 places. Cheers.

Thanks K2, that's an awesome review. Makes the decision even harder. I'm planning the trip for mid-May.

I have never been to AC, so take this with a grain of salt. The past two friends I have spoken with about AC say that there are NUMEROUS go-go bars, but few if any beer bars. So it really depends on what you like. Both also have current Thai "GF's" and regretted not seeing their Tilacs when they had time available.

Yeah....I've decided to hit Pattaya, over AC, for the simple fact that it seems got more on offer besides just Go-Go's. I'm also usually looking for a nice place to relax, like a beer-bar or by the beach. Plus I go to Pattaya via BKK which is ground well-covered and full of familiar faces.....and I'm sure I would also miss my Tilac (mak mak) if I was over in AC. Cheers
