Taxi fare to Sukhumvit

Hi Guys,

can anyone give me a ball park figure of what I should be paying for a taxi to Nana Hotel from the airport?? (the new one). I know the Thais will try it on, but whats a sensible amout I should be coughing up though.

Also what about from Nana to Don Muang, cos we'll be coming to Phuket after 1 night in Bangkok.

Does anyone have any tips for getting these taxis, ie are they freelance, meters or what, as I've heard there are a few locations they hang about around the airport, some better than others.

cheers

THE HOOF

Are you flying into New Airport???

When we arrived we went down one level to domestic Arrivals. Joined the line for taxi's and it was done on meter..... I think it was between 300-400 Baht including Tolls to Majestic Suites which is just around the corner from nana hotel

Cheres for that Sarsbuk, yeah we fly into the new one so I reckon 500 baht tops to Nana then.

We fly out to Phuket from the old one though. Probably gonna be about the same you reckon??

We tried to get in Majestic, but it was booked so Nana was next choice.

With no trafic less than 1/2 hour. On a bad day over 1/2 hour. Counting on 1 hour should be safe most times of the day.
