Online booking question

Ok, So I decided to just stay at either Nana or Majestic Suites.

I'm booking on the phuket-info.com site and was wondering if I should put the number of adults as 1 or 2.
It will be just me coming to BKK but I do want to bring any girls I pickup into the room.

In Nana, I want to book the standard twin room (1250BHT).
In Maj, I want to book the single studio (1250BHT).

Will they be GF for me? Or do I have to book a room that says double.

Both hotels are guest friendly.

I have stayed at Majestic Suites a few time and the type room I requested cost 100 baht (I think) more per night for double occupancy and that got me another inclusive breakfast.

In the case of the 2 hotels you listed booking double occupancy is (as stated) not necessary, however, I you are booking at a hotel where you are not sure, booking double occupancy can only help you course, if they try to hit you up for a joiner fee.

When booking the Majestic Suites a Superior Single is 1242 Baht a night. with http://www.thaihoteldiscounts.com/

I only booked a single occupancy which includes breakfast for one. Guests are welcome!

Thanks everyone, especially sarsbuk for your help.

I checked out the link you shared and just submitted a reservation at Nana Hotel for a double room. This time, I said there'd be 2 adults
I was a bit surprised they asked for my credit card info even if my reservation wasn't confirmed yet.

I decided to choose Nana over Majestic because I heard on here that the disco in the Nana hotel is quite nice.

Funny thing is, the price listed for Nana was only 1165 BHT. Whether or not they decide to tack on more I have no idea, since the other sites listed it more around 1250.

I'll update ya folks when/if I get my confirmation.

Do you guys know if Nana has an airport pickup service? and if so, does it cost much more than just taking a taxi? and is it reliable and ridable..?

Many more thanks. If I see u guys around, perhaps a beer or two would help repay all the good info

Just get a regular taxi from the airport. You will pay no more than 400 baht!

yes the link I sent has cheaper prices than the hotel and you pay for the hotel in advance. You just take the voucher with you and they check you in.

I am heading to Bangkok in August and will stay a few days in Majestic Suites before Phuket and a few days in Nana hotel after Phuket. I have booked both hotel with the link I sent you. The emails and service is excellent and they are the cheapest I found when researching hotels.

Make sure when in BKk you head to Hillary's bar a little up the road from Nana hotel and on the left!! Great bar!

Also Majestic Suites is a 2 minute walk to Nana disco/hotel...... Although I must say the Majestic Suites was a great hotel.

Thanks again.
I got a reply from Tim at Thaihoteldiscounts and he said Nana was fully booked and recommended Majestic.
The thing is, the price difference is around 300BHT. They asked for 1458BHT for a superior double/twin. Why is it so much more than Nana?

I'm not too worried over a 300BHT increase (a mere $9), but I thought this was the low season. Why is Nana fully booked?

I had also sent a reservation inquiry to Nap-Inn and they just confirmed by booking. Is Nap-Inn near NEP or Cowboy? It is super cheap (800BHT) but if its too much of a hassle, I guess it ain't worth it.

ONLY BOOK A SINGLE OCCUPANCY!!!!!!!!!! This is all I did mate!!!! You can still have guests over but you only get one breakfast! If you want your BG to have breakfast you pay 200 baht extra for it!!!

I will happily show you my reservation from last trip if needed.. But a single occupance at majestic for Superior is 1242.

Personally I believe Majestic is a nicer hotel and you can use the facilities at Majestic Grande (5 minute walk) free of charge!!! The receptionists at Majestic Suites are great also!!!

yep.....just book for single occupancy at MS.....no joiner fee....entitles you to one breakfast but I've never eaten breakfast there in about 30 visits

Also there are two types of rooms......single studios (the lower price) and Superior rooms which are a bit bigger and cost more....both are way beter than the rooms at Nana Hotel IMHO.....and just around the corner if its the disco/car park you are after...........55555

I will duly note the advice dispensed...for my next trip. I already confirmed my reservation at Nap-Inn, so I will definitely check out Majestic next time.
Thanks though!
