Airport procedure
This is a different request than usual, usually im just asking about gogo girls and soapys but since I go next week thought I best ask about the airport procedure and that.
Can any one tell me what the procedure is when you arrive at bangkok airport, like how long does it take and that. Also when departing bangkok to travel back and also when travelling to koh samui.
Cheers players

plane lands and that
seat belt sign turns off and that when arrive at gate and that
Get up and collect hand luggage and that
Walk to immigration, depending on arrival time can take up to like 30 minutes to clear and that, but at Suwarnabhumi never taken me more than like 15 and that
Go to baggage reclaim and that
collect bags and that
walk out, like, ignore taxi touts and that.
Go up one level to departures and that.
Walk out front and get new modern taxi waiting for return fair to town and that.
Tell him destination and sit back and enjoy the ride to town and that.
As for the rest of it, I'm sure an adult can figure it out, it really isn't rocket science
oh....and that

Which part was of particular interest to you? I can expand on it if you like.
Ask a specific question and it may even be answered.

It really depends what time of day you arrive as to how fast you will get through immigration, i have seen me wait one hour once, and another time walked straight up to the desk.
One time i waited 45 minutes to get to desk, then i was asked which flight i arrived on, told them Ethiopian Express, then was asked if i had been to the medical dept to sign off yellow fever cert, F***, no i have not, so back to medical dept before returning to back of same queue and that .
Immigration on the way out can be the same, although never waited more than about 20 minutes there.

Suwarnabhumi
It will say on the tickets
BKK = Suwarnabhumi
DMK = Don Muang
DMK currently handles domestic only.
A Manc...heaven forbid....OK at least you've insulted me back.

I think that goes with what i said above, because i came from Africa i needed to prove i had the valid vaccinations to enter, the best way for them to know which flight was from boarding passes.

Do ignore the taxi touts outside of arrivals.
As a first timer I would go down to level 1 and get a taxi from the taxi stand. There will be a fee of 50 baht for that. The attendees speak good English and will make sure the drive understand the destination. No need to negotiate, just a meter taxi to town. All inclusive it should set you back between 250 - 350 baht depending on route and tolls.

All the shitty taxis queue down the bottom - death traps in my book. Point blank refuse to get in a single one of them.
Guess there's lots of risks to being a first timer......

I wouldn't say there is risks as much as there are uncertainties. First time when in a new place, it is sometimes easier to go with the flow, but if comfortable with hailing a taxi (against the rules) at the departure level and negotiate the price, by all means ...

Why would I have to negotiate the price?...I'm damn comfortable with getting in and telling him where to go. Pretty much end of conversation unless he's a chatty one....fair enough.
On departures they are standing around queuing up to get a customer, the fact that you chose them usually makes them play ball.
