Nana and Cowboy arwe not very far away from each other. You can take skytrain from Nana to Asok (next stop) which takes just a couple of minutes or walk in about 10 minutes.

Patpong is a little further away. I'd take a taxi there, but can't remember how far it is off the top of my head.

How far from the airport. Well first you would have to take a taxi and this can vary how long it will take to get to Nana for example. One time it took me 50 minutes from the airport to Nana hotel (which is just opposite Nana plaza) becaue of traffic. To patpong again i am not really sure as i hate Patpong. Much prefer Cowboy over the other 2 but that is personal opinion.

I try to fly in , NOT between 7am and 9am and 4pm and 7pm and 9pm to 11pm and then the taxi takes about ( telling driver 'freeway' and paying 60 baht toll yourself) 25 mins. AVOID Patpong, its an expensive 'showcase'.Cowboy is, in my view. the best and 10 min walk from Nana..tho Nana is still fun.

The distance from either airport is about the same 20 (or so) km. Taxi = 2-300 baht, plus tolls and 50 baht airport fee.

Attached is a map if Sukhumvit (Nana and Soi Cowboy) and a map of MRT/BTS showing all four major entertainment centers in Bangkok. Rachadaphisek mainly caters to Asians, but there are a number of soapies there. From Nana to Patpong take a taxi (it is faster if you get on from the Nana side of Sukhumvit. From Soi Cowboy to Patpong the MRT may be the better option.

There is more to Bangkok than Nana and Cowboy a majority of the soi's running off Sukumvit have bars where you can pick up a lady for company for the night so you could call it one big red light district, as well as on Sukumvit itself.

After being bumrushed at Nana by midgets, late 30 something and fat BGs, LBs I decided to take a walk to SC. I almost broke a sweat. Finally settled into Suzi Wongs for some beer, good enough music, and so much bar girl a$$. I never knew you could so many BGs on one stage. I finally settled on one nice LBFM for the evening.
It's off to Soi 33 for tonight.

YOU can also take the skytrain to patpong get on at nana staion and after 3 stops(cant remember the station name but just ask when buying ticket) get off and change to the other line then go to sala daeng station come out of the station turn left walk along 50 metres and the soi on your right hand side is patpong 2 thats you there but as someone else said i would give it a miss if you are going to be ripped off in bangkok it will happen here especially if you are a newbie ! just as good shows in soi cowboy and 3rd level nana plaza bars .
