best way to get to Kanchanaburi tiger temple ?

hey everyone, well im heading off to LOS tonight for a couple of weeks, one thing i promised myself i would do this time is visit Kanchanaburi tiger temple. i will be spending time in patts and phuket. what i wanted to ask was is Kanchanaburi tiger temple closer to patts or bkk? also im just wondering what would be the best way to get there. i have read that an air con bus is only 200 return from bkk and a taxi is between 1000 and 300. can someone tell me where the bus station in bkk is as i have no idea, is it near the airport, im hoping it is. or is the temple closer to patts?

would also like to hear from anyone who has visited the temple, what was it like?

KANCHANABURI is about 3 hours from bangkok add another 2 hours from pattaya best ways to get there is either by train from huamphong railway station or by air con bus from morchit bus station (not EKAMAI ) which serves that part of the country you can get to morchit by using the skytrain or the undrground network.
