Would like my teeth done in Bangkok advice

Hello Guys and girls if your looking in

I am going to be in Bangkok from the 8th December for a few days and would really like to treat myself and have my teeth done ie: a set of Veneers.

Now can i say i no nothing about Veneers so to start with any advice on them, themselves from maybe someone who knows i will gladly listen.

Secondly i seem to hear that dentist work in Bangkok is both of good quality and a very good price. I'm told compared to the same work in the UK is alot cheaper.

Can any advise or point me in the right direction o and whilst i'm on it, is it a painful procedure ?

Hello - I use Dental Hospital Bangkok,Dental Treatment Rooms. Very good dentists. Not the cheapest in town but amongst the best IMHO.

I'm going to have veneers if not then at least laser whitening i will speak to my dentist next week i'm due for a check up and polish i will ask what he recommends for me...''

Haven't been to a dentist in Bangkok but have in Phuket and Udon - much cheaper than UK but a few days may not be enough time for veneers. You could do the planning steps on this trip and then return later to have the work done - the saving should at the very least pay for the flights....

Sukhumvit Soi 49 is about 10-15 mins in a taxi from the Cowboy area. If you want to work out the details with them in advance they are responsive to emails.

Really? everywhere i read on the net dentists claim laser treatment is a painless proceduce.

If your talking about veneers then i can only guess your teeth are not too good (no offense intended).... If your teeth aren't in the best health and are sensitive trust me you will not believe the pain you'll encounter. Although I have good clean strong teeth they are still sensitive and as i posted on another thread, after the laser treatment the pain was so bad i was sick as a dog, best to let the dentist decide whats best for your teeth...

I had extensive dental work done at Bangkk Phuket International Hospital, estimated cost in Australia about $25,000 (22 teeth crowned, bridged and 5 veneers. Cost in Thailand $6,500 aus and I probably paid farang price. But I was absolutely thrilled with the results. Work done 2 years ago and no problems. PM me if you want more info

I have a similar report to Aussie 45 ( shit mate , you musta been a wreck!)... highly recommend these guys with spotless , modern surgeries and western trained dentists...had crowns done at 33% of Aus prices.

They are in Wireless rd , Consul district, Central Bkk , about 10 min taxi ride from Cowboy along Sukumvit rd and you will be impressed.

I can confirm laser treatment does hurt alot for about 2 / 3 days after treatment. I had it done at a very respectable surgery in Patong but I would think twice before getting it done again.

I had exactly what you're thinking of.......veneers and laser whitening.

I had it done at Bangkok International Dental Centre, just an MRT ride from Soi Cowboy / Asok station:

I would recommend them for sure. Agree with what others have said about the pain of the laser, but it went afer a day or so. Put it this way tho- I had the veneer prep and the laser done on the same day and I was still out that night partying and wooing the ladies so it's not too bad :-)
